Meeting oalled to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Councilman F.R.Renwick.

CALL FOR MEETING.
The meeting was called for the purpose of receiving petitions of oandidates
to serve as Counoilman (1) for a term of three years, Councilman (1) to
serve for one year or the unexpired term of W.T.Goodyear, resigned,and a
Town Clerk to serve one year, to issue the call for the Election, order the
ballots and appoint an Election Board.
PETITIONS.
The Clerk reported that there had bean filed with him four petitions on
Octobs'r 15th, 1941 as follows;
Henry Stalnaker, for the unexpired term of W.T.Goodyear, Resigned.
Edward J.Ryan, for the unexpired tem of W.T.Goodyear, Resi.gned.
George L.Bailey for Councilman for a term of three years.
Wal te r C. :h'ullar for Cle rk for a te rm of one ye ar.

A Resolution entitled," A RESOLUTION ORDERING AN ANNUAL ELECTION TO BE HELD
~ IN THE TGWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, IN 1lHB JDit,A.D. 1941; PRESCRIBING THE r"~
TIME AND PLACE FOR HOLDING SUCH ELECTION; PRESCRIBING THE RULES BY WHICH SUCH
ELECTION SHALL BE GOVERNED; PRESCRIBING THE TIME THE POLtS SHALL BE OPENED ~
ABD CLOSED; AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICES OF SUCH ELECTION." was read in full.
Councilman Southard moved the adoption of the resolution, s.eonded by Counoil-
man Renwiok, and adopted the Roll Call vote being as follows:

Counoilman. O.E.SouthalU. Yes.

Councilman Southard moved that the Clerk be authorized to obtain prices
and purchase the ballots for the annual election and also 500 ballots
for the informal Election as to whether the Town should be Zoned in
accordance with the Zoning Commission's Report as amended by the Town _
Council, seconded by Councilman Renwick and by vote declared CARRIED.
Councilman SouthaIrl moved that we do now adjourn, Seconded by Councilman
Renwick and by vote declared CARRIED. Time 8:16 P.M.
