Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Councilman F.R.Renwick.

The following citzens were present, Olive K.Parker, J.S.Bates, R.S.Fee,
Paul D.Leddin and Mrs. Florence Swine~.
Mayor Renwick stated the purpose of the Meeting.
The Clerk reported that eight absentee Ballots had been voted for the Annual,
and eight absentee Ballots for the Referendun Election.
Ballot Box No. 3 was produced, the contents removed and destroyed.
Whereupon Council proceeded to prepare the Ballot Box :No. 3 for the Annual
Election and placed therein the following;

2. The Official Registration Book.
3. 2 Tally Books.
, 4. 2 Official Return Certificates.
~ ,. 1 Blank Poll List.
6. 5 Pencils.
1.7.. 2 Stick Files.
a 6 Instructions to Electors.
'9.1 Envelope for certificate of returns.
10. 1 Piece of Sealing Wax.
11. 1 Strip of gummed paper.
12. 2 Envelopes for ballot box keys.
13. 7 Seals.
14. 12 Blanks "Oath of Elector.1t
15. a Absentee Ballots.
16. 492 Official Ballo,ts.
Whereupon Ballot Box No. 3 properly marked for said election was locked and
sealed by Council and the Oath of the Custodian of the Box was Administered
to Olive Parker, Clerk of Election, the Oath ~illed with the Town Clerk and
Ballot Box No.3 was delivered to Olive Parker together with the key thereof.
The Oath is attached and forms a part of these minutes.
Ballot Box No. 4 was produced and found to be empty.
CounciL..proceeded to prepare Ballot Box No. 4 for the Referendun Election on
Zoning and placed therein the following;

Clerk of Election duly appointed by the Town Council
of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, for the Annual
Town Election to be held in said Town on November 4th
1941, doth depose and say that al custodian of the
Official Ballot Box for said Annual Town Election,
and of the Key thereof, she will perform her commission

faithfully and impartially and without favor or pre-
judice to anyone.
