READING OF MINlITES.
The minutes of the meeting of December 16th, 1941 were read whereupon Uouncil-
man Bailey moved that they be approved as read, seconded by liouncilman
Southard and by vote declared uARRIED.

Councmlman Southard moved that these bills be approved, paid as read and be
made a part of these minutes, seconded by uouncilman Bailey and by vote de-

REPORTS OF OFFIC.~RS.
The Clerk read his financial reports for the month of Deceember, whereupon
liounciL~n Hailey moved that they be approved and be made a part of these
minutes , seconded by Uouncilman Southard and by vote declared CARBI1~D.
The Marshall reported that the surrouding property owners offered no object-
ions to the keeping of hogs on Lots 26A and 26B, Ass'rs Sub. of If.ALVARlliZ
Grant, where upon Councilman Bailey moved that the Ulerk be authorized to
issue a permit to Ira Gramham, seconded byliounciLna,n Southard and by vote
declared liARRIED.
The Marshall further reported that the trash dumped on the riparian rights of
the L.R.Turner property could be cleaned with a small amount of work and he
was ordered to have this done.

Councilman douthard moved that Ordinance hOe 103 be passed upon first reading
seconded by Uouncilman Hailey and by vote declared UARRIED,

.NEW BUSINESS.
C.D.Bartlett asked about the rumor that consideration was being given to
giving l~ew emyrna Beach a Ji'ranchise for supplying l!11ectrical (jurrent to
the ~own of ~dgewater. he was advised that no formal request had been re-
c~lived.
Gouncil decided to meet on J"anuary12th at the hour of 7:30 P.M. to consider
a Zoning Ordinance and the Mayor was to issue a call for this meeting. The
Clerk was to ask those men who had consented to serve on the commission to
be present at this meeting.
Council ordered the Marshall to repair aU;d provide ,~an approach to the Oceal
Ave. Dock so that::.,the approach wa.s not under Vlater at high tide.
(jhief Air ~arden Bailey requested the consideration of Council to the needs
of Air Wardens in having a flash lig~t, a spare bulb and battery and a fir&
a.id kit available.
(jouncilman Southard moved that the Clerk purchase three first aid kits at a
cost not to exceed ~20.00, these kits to be loaned the air wardens in ~dge-
water, and to remain the p~mperty of the Town, seconded by (jouncil!nan otal-
naker and by vote declared (jARRI~D. Uouncilnlan ~ailey not voting.
An Application to keep 10 hogs on Lot 4, Bl. B., Yelcka ~err. Sub. was refe~d
to the Marshall for a report at the next meeting.
~he Clerk was requested to obtain prices on two fla.shing amber and red traffic
control lights.

Mrs. Dora Christenson.
