CALL FOR MEETING.
The call for the meetings of the Hoard of Equalization was read in full.
Councilman Stam~cer moved that the call be made a part of these minutes,
seconded by Councilman Sputhard and by vote dem~ared uARRIED.
A copy ~f the cal~ is attached.
There being no property owners present the Ulerk read letters from the
fol~owing in reference to valuations;
Florida East Uoast Railway dated March 19, 1942.
Model Land Co., dated January 24th, 1942.
~he Clerk reported receipt of ~ax Returns from the Hollowing;
Gulf Oil Corporation, dated l~rch ?O, 1942.

The Clerk presented the ~ax Assessment Roll for the Tax Year 1942 complete
with the exception of the Valuations for the Railroads and Utilities which
had not been received from the State Comptroller.
The Board viewed the Roll and discussed various valuations.
Gounci~~ Sta~1aker moved that we adjourn to meet on August 3rd, 1942 at the
hour of 7:30 P.M. at the V.I.A.Hall, seconded by Councilman Southard and by
vote declared CARRIED. Time 9:05 P.M.

Flerida, will m.et, with the Town Clerk of said Town, and sit as an
Equalization Board at the Counoil Chambor in the V~I.A.Hall, Edgewater,
Florida, on Monday the sixth d., of July, 1942, at the hour of 7:30
P.M.,for the purpose of hearing oomplaints and reaeiving testim0ny as
to the value of any property, real or personal, as fixed ~ the Tewn
Clerk gf said TQwn, acting as Assessor thoreof, and for the purpose of
perfecting, reviewing and equalizing the said assessment, and that
said Counail will aontinue in session for that purpose from day to day
for one week, or as long 8S shall be nea~ssary, and that said Counail
will meet 0n MQnday, August 3rd and on Ma>>nday Septem'b8 r 7th at the hour
of 7:30 P.M. for the purposes as above defined and for hearing appeals
for Homestead Exemptions.
