READI:tW OF :MINUTES.
The minutes of the Board meeting held on July 7th, 1942 was read in full.
Councilman Southard moved that the minutes of July 7th as read be approved,
seconded by Counci~~n Stalnaker and by vote declared CARRIED.
The Clerk reported the receipt,$rom the State Comptrollers Office, of the
assessed valuations for the follol,ving;

\.estern Union Telegraph Co.
Pullman Co.
]lrui t Growers Express Co.
Postal Tel. Cable Co.
lJr. R.S.Fee spoke for lirs. Mabel Baumgartner requesting a reduction in the
assessed valuation of Lots 2,3,5 and 6, Block 1, Snider dpencer Sub. He
based his request on the actual building costs plus the value as set on
the land value of the lots. The Board defered action upon the request until
the final m~eting in deptember.
The board discussed the report received from the State Comptro~ler and the
relation between full vales and assessed values in Edgewater.
Councilman Stalnaker moved that we adjourn, seconded by Councilnlan Southard
and by vote declared CP~ED. Time 9:4d P.M.
