The minutes of the meeting of the Board held on August 3rd, 1942 were read whereupon Councilman Southard moved that they be approved as read, seconded by Councilman Bailey and by vote declared CARRIED. BUSINESS. Councilman 30uthard luoved that the assessed value for the Gulf Rcfin~ng Co. property as located at the Edgewater Inn Station and the Thomas Station be fixed as shown upon the Assessment Roll in the amounts of $430.00 and $300.00 seconded by Councilman Bailey and by vote declared Carried. Refering to the retun1 of tho Model Land Co. dated January ~4th, 1942 for Lot 41 Assessors Sub. of G.Alvarez Grant in t~c sum of $290.00, Councilman Southard moved that the valuation stand as shown on the assessment roll at $500.00, seconded by Councilman Bailey and by vote declared CARRIED. Councilman Stalnakor moved that the Applications for Homestead Exemptions' as allowed by the Tax Assessor be approved anq,eonfirmcd, seconded by Council- marrBailey and by vote declared CARRIED Councilman Bailey moved that the assessed valuation on lots 2,3,5 and 6, Block 1, Snider Spencer Sub. assessed to Mabel Baumgartner be made $3600.00 instead of $3900.00 as shown on the Assessment Roll, seconded by CounciLman Stalnaker and by vote declared unanimously CARRIED. CounciDnan Bailey moved that the Assessment Roll for the year 1942 be appro~ed and confirmed as amended by the minutes of this meeting, seconded by Council- man Southard and by vote declared unanimously CARRIED.
