EDGEWATER ZONING BOARD
NOVEMBER 22, 1977
Chairman Wolfe called the Edgewater Zoning Board to order 22,
1977 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mayor's office.

Chairman Wolfe stated that tonight we are here to discuss and
decide what to do with the metal plating shop. Mr. May was
present to discuss this metal platting shop and the machine shop.
It was explained how the metal plating shop will operate.
Mr. Wiggins asked about the plastic pails that were discussed
at the public hearing he wanted to know where would they be
made. Mr. May stated that he would like to make them in the
same building. It was explained how they were made.
The question came up if that building had a sprinkler system
in it. It does not. Mr. May stated that there was not enough
water down there, and the City can not furnish them with that
much water. There is only a two inch line down there.
Mrs. Secki asked how did they get permission to build this building
unless they knew what was going to go in it. Chairman Wolfe
stated that it was built for a warehouse.
It was explained where the I-I and I-2 areas are.
It was suggested that another letter be sent to the City Council
on the Pyramid Welding Co.
Mr. Nichols asked how many employees will be in the building? Mr.
May' stated that there would be no more than four. Also is there
parking? He stated that there is.
Mr. Nichols made a motion to add to permitted uses in r-l a Metal
platidg' shop industrial hard chrome only and machine shop tool and
die. Mr. Mackie made the second. CARRIED.' 5-0
type this motion to the City Council for the next meeting~
Mrs. Nichols asked about a pi~ce of land that is :next to a trailer
park. She would like for the Zoning Board to look at it and she will
be at the next meeting to find out what the Boards findings are,
The property is across from Kirby's Restaurant.
