ZONING BOARD
SPECIAL MEETING
SEP"fI. 27, 1977
Chairman Wolfe called the meeting to order on September 27, 1977
at 7:45 P.M. in the Mayor's office.

The minutes of September 6, 1977 were reviewed. Mr. Nichols made
a motion to accept the minutes, Mr. Mackie made the second.
CARRIED. 4-0
Chairman Wolfe stated that we sent a memo to Mr. Judson Woods
and we got a reply back. He proceeded to read this memo.
Mr. Murphy has already started issuJng permits on the property
that was questioned in this memo. 'so this has been taken care of.
Chairman Wolfe stated that the next thing that we have is an
application for a Occupational License for a cabinet shop in
the mini warehouses on W. Pine Bluff. Ms. Lackey is the one
that has applied for this license.
There is to be a memo sent to the City Clerk in reference to
the property of Carters Motel and Mobile Home Park from its
present MH-l to B-3 legal discription of the property is the
South 300 feet of US lot 7, section 2, Township 18, Southrange
34 East. Make a note that the South 300 feet of US lot 7 is
wrong it should be East 300 feet. .
This is also to advise the City that they are in violation
of the Zoning Law 715.00. The City Council should read 715.01
in reference to making a zoning change. As it stands now the
City is in violation of their own Zoning Law.
Mr. Nichols stated that on page 132 in changes in admendments
this is not a change of admendments it is a change in Zoning
you can read this and get a better idea. Chairman Wolfe
read page 132 and this was discussed.
Chairman Wolfe stated that he believes that Ms. Lackey is
taking cabinets and furniture and refinshing it.
Chiarman Wolfe stated that we need to put on the application
that there will be no manufacturing.
Mr. Mackie stated that we should invite her to our next meeting
so then we can find out just w~at she wants to do.
Chairman Wolfe asked Susan to please notify Ms. Lackey and have
her come to the next Zoning Board meeting the 4th of October to
explain what she intends to do.
There will be a meeting next Tuesday on October 4, 1977.
Mr. Mackie made a motion to adjourn Mr. Nichols made the second.
