SPECIAL ZONING BOARD MEETING
MARCH 22, 1977
The Special meeting of the Edgewater Zoning Board was called to
order by Chairman Wolfe at 7:30 P.M. March 22, 1977 in the Mayor's
office.

Minutes of the March 2, 1977, meeting were accepted.
A letter from Chairman Millard of the Board of Adjustments, asking
the Zoning Board~ recommendations on Government Builder~ request for
a variance.
The Chairman asked the Planning Board members if they were planning on
annexation. He explained our revisions of Ordinance 880 will be
completed by May 1, 1977, and did not want this or other matters to
be in conflict with their plans.
Mr. Yackel explained the Planning Board has nine elements and sub-
committees are working on each of these. They intend to meet with
James Sayes of the Dept. of Community Affairs April 13, 1977 for
additional information on planning. He assured us there was no
conflict with the Zoning Board.
Members of the Planning Board agreed to discuss new annexation of
land for Ed~e0ater west of I-95 and South of Ari~l Road at their
next meeting April 12, 1977. The Zoning Board is invited to attend.
Chairman Wolfe instructed the secretary to write a memo requesting
maps be furnished to the Planning Board members, as they requested.
They would appreciate one copy of the Zoning Board minutes be sent
to the Chairman of the Planning Board, Mr. David McCallister also
the Zoning Board would like to have a copy of the Planning Board
minutes. Earl Wallace stressed the need for cooperation between
the two boards. All the members agreed. The Planning Board left at
9:00 P.M. after a lengthy discussion.
A motion was made by James Mackie and seconded by Bonnie Turner to
table our study and recommendations to Mr. Millard on the request
by Government Builders for variances until we get a plot plan.
A recommendation3 will be made at our April 5, 1977 meeting.
