Mr. Wolfe explained to the board that Mr. Yelvington spoke to him about wanting to put up a Pawn Shop in a B-3 Zoning District, however Mr. Yelvington did not come to the meeting, so there is no need to discuss this. There was much discussion about exactly what "Lending Agencies" are, also, "Minor Service Stations", and the board decided that a memorandum should be directed to the City Attorney in regard to this. Mrs. Webber informed the board that at the last Council meeting the Council thought it would be a good idea if all the boards would think of a name for the park and pier area across from City Hall. The board members discussed this and they all feel that it should remain "Edgewater Park and Pier". There was some discussion in regards to Pappy's and the antique place on the northeast corner of Ocean Avenue displaying items outside on the sidewalk, etc. The board decided that a memoran- dum should be directed to the City Manager in regard to this. The board would also like an answer from the City Manager in regard to whether two different businesses are allowed in the same building. There was some discussion about Economy Imports having some thirty cars parked allover the lot all the time, and the board would like this looked into, and they would like an answer as to whether this can be stopped. Mrs. Webber stated that she feels that lot clearing around the City should be taken care of by the City. That it is not really fair for the citizens to be forced to make a complaint. There was much discussion in regard to Peddlers and whether they should be allowed in the City or not. Mr. Brittingham came in and was brought up to date as to what was discussed. Mr. Wiggins made a motion to adjourn, being seconded by Mr. Brittingham. Said motion CARRIED.
