ZONING BOARD
REGULAR MEETING HELD
FEBRUARY 4,1975
The regular meeting of the Zoning Board of the City of Edgewater,
Florida was called to order by Chairman Wolfe, at 9:00, February
4, 1975.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Brittingham made a motion to approve the minutes, being
seconded by Mr. Wiggins. Said motion CARRIED.
OLD BUSINESS
At this time Chairman Wolfe stated that there are a few questions
from the City Manager.
Mr. Bryant explained that things have come up in his office which
he tries to give all the alternatives from within our system that
he can think of, however he feels that the Ordinance could be
amended to clarify these alternatives.
Mr. Bryant requested that the following items be looked into
and some clarification be made:
1. The word "garage" should be specifically defined in the
Ord i na nce .
2. "Front of buildings" should be specifically defined.
3. Home Occupations
4. Fence Restrictions
Mr. Bryant explained that if the Ordinance could contain some
more specifies for him to go by instead of making judgment
decisions it would help him a lot.
The board suggested that Mr. Bryant make a list of the problems
that the board can help him with by making amendments to the
Ordinance or whatever.
.The board discussed fruit being sold from the back of a truck
and whether it is legal or not.
NEW BUSINESS
Chairman Wolfe stated that a Mrs. Dryer called him and would
like the board's opinion on her building a duplex on her
property near Kirby's Restaurant in Edgewater.

Chairman Wolfe read a letter which was referred to the board
by City Attorney Weaver. This letter has been answered in
detail, and Mr. Wolfe said that he would get back to Mr. Weaver
about it.
The board made up an agenda to be typed up for the next meeting.
MISCELLANEOUS
Mrs. Webber questioned who's jurisdiction does deterioration
of the City come under. There was some discussion on this.
Mr. Mackie asked about all the used and junk cars being parked
around the little barber shop, which the board gave a permit to
for garage repairs, but not to have these cars parked allover
the property all the time. Someone should check into this.
Chairman Wolfe asked the clerk to see the City Manager about this.

Mr. Wiggins.
