BOARD OF GOVERNORS
REGULAR MEETING
FEBRUARY 14. 1980
CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Wolfe called the regular meeting of the Board of Governors
to order at 7:47 P.M. on February 14, 1980 in the Mayor's Office.

Mr. Hardock made a motion to approve the Minutes of the January 10,
1980 meeting. Mr. Nerber made the second. CARRIED 5-1.
There was some discussion on the inventory that was taken in the
Community Center on January 15th 1980. This inventory was taken by
the following members. Irene Negedly, Steve Hardock, Robert Wolfe,
Joseph ~lcEver.
After the Firemen Dinner we will be able to tell more of what we need
and then it can be ordered.
Attached is the list of the inventory.
Mr. Nerber made a motion that Mr. McEver be Vice Chairman of the Board
of Governors. Mr. Hardock made the second. CARRIED 6-0.
The Grant that went to the Department of Resources.

The Grant on South Riverside park we talked to David White and he is
sending us a new application.
The Grant on Dave Edwards from Clyde Mann the County Councilman this
grant is not available unless New Smyrna Beach drops out. This is
for the floating docks. The Board feels that they should give us a
better reason for not giving us this grant.
The board suggested that a memo should go to the Mayor so that he can
get a better explanation on the motor boat grant. Also have the City
Planner do this through the Mayor.
Mr. McEver gave his report on the Raquetball Tournament. There were
not enough people to participate to have the classes.
The members asked for a budget report. This will be gone over at
the next months meeting when we get the budget.

There was a short discussion on the boat wake problem.
Mrs. Negedly made a motion to adjourn Mr. Nerber made the second.CARRIED.
