INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT BOARD
SPECIAL MEETING
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 1990
6:00 P.M.
CONFERENCE ROOM, CITY HALL
Chairman Joe D. Martin called to order a special meeting of the
Industrial Development Board at 6:17 p.m., Thursday, November 29,
1991, in the conference room of City Hall, to discuss and take
action regarding the recommendation of the Ad Hoc Committee
formed to create an advertisement seeking volunteers to serve on
a task force to assist the Board in developing a plan to open the
Planned Industrial Development (PID) District.
ROLL CALL: Members present were Mr. Gleason, Mr. Koch, Mr.
Martin, Mr. Baldwin, Mr. Hanson, and Mr. Williams. Mrs. Rymsza
was absent. Also present was Beverly Kinney, Secretary.
The advertisement created by the Ad Hoc Committee is as follows:
HELP DIRECT EDGEWATER'S GROWTH
The City of Edgewater is seeking volunteers to serve on a task
force for the City of Edgewater Industrial Development Board to
assist the Board in developing a plan to open the Planned
Industrial Development (PID) district.
If you have experience in engineering, commercial real estate,
commercial contracting, architecture, civil engineering,
community or public relations, research, environmental issues, or
industrial/economic development we need you.
Applications, qualifications/resume, and letters of intent are
being accepted in the Planning and Zoning Department.

After discussion Mr. Gleason moved that the header for the
advertisement shall state "Help Direct Edgewater's Growth",
seconded by Mr. Williams. Motion Carried 5-1 with Mr. Hanson
voting no.
The following wording was approved for the advertisement:
HELP DIRECT EDGEWATER'S GROWTH
If you have experience in commercial real estate, commercial
contracting, architecture, civil engineering, community or public
relations, grants and fundraising, environmental standards,
zoning and planning, or industrial/economic development we need
you.
The City of Edgewater Industrial Development Board needs
enthusiastic volunteers with sufficient time and energy to serve
on a task force to assist the Board in developing a plan to open
the Planned Industrial Development (PID) District.
Applications, qualifications/resumes, and/or letters of interest
are being accepted by the Planning and Zoning Department, 102
North Riverside Drive, Edgewater, Florida 32132.

Mr. Baldwin moved to have Mr. Martin approve the final draft of
the advertisement so it can be placed in the News Journal on
December 9th and 16th. Mr. Koch seconded. Motion Carried 6-0.
