MISCELLANEOUS:
The Board discussed the possibility of an Industrial Park in the area, either

of a Southeast Volusia Industrial Park or distribution center.
The Board had a short discussion regarding the Sunshine Laws.
The Board discussed possible grant money to aid in the development of Industry
similar to New Smyrna.
Mr. Richards felt the next Industry Appreciation Seminar should include a
speaker about computers for Industry. Mrs. Baker added the evaluation sheets
turned in at the last seminar had many good ideas for future speakers.
Mrs. Baker stated she was probably going to be appointed the the Economic
Development Board sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce and asked if the
Board members would consider being alternates for the meetings if she is
unable to attend.
