FEC PRESENTATION
Mr. James W. Christopolus, Manager, Industrial Development/Regional Manager
Sales and Service, of FEC was present to discuss the proposed development
of the FEC Industrial Park. Mr. Christopolus noted that FEC does advertise,
but is fortunate that in their day to day contact through their various
offices, businesses generally come to them asking for available property
in Florida. He noted that they will supply the Board with information per-
taining to lot sizes, prices, etc. The property will be for sale or lease,
and he believes that FEC may build to suit the individual. According to his
time schedule the land will be developed and ready to be sold in approximately
one year. He mentioned that FEC is available for any help the Board may
need in their endeavor, and FEC will keep in close contact to keep the
Board advised of> their progress.
OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Breuilly contacted Mr. Eaton, Florida Power and Light to obtain inror-
mation on industrial property in the area. Mr. Eaton suggested that the
Board purchase the book "Industrial Development Study", which is a complete
compilation of industrial land in this area. Mr. Mitchell had received a
copy of this book which was given to the Board. Mrs. Massey suggested that
a certain group of pages be copied for each member which shows land in the
immediate area.
The secretary noted that the Board has received a few replies in response
to the form letter sent out to area realtors on available industrial property.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:05 PM.
