01-07-1982 o o CITY OF EDGEWATER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REGULAR MEETING January 7, 1982 CALL TO ORDER Vice Chairman Edmund Duby called the meeting to order at 7:14 PM. ROLL CALL Present: Mr. Duby. present: Mr. Breuilly, Mr. Zigrnund, Mr. Gnau, Mrs. Massey, Mr. Landry, Excused: Mr. Siciliano, Mr. MoIster, Mr. Sawyer. Also Nancy Blazi, Debbie Winks, Secretary, Mr. Earl Wallace APPROVAL OF MINUTES Moved by Mr. Gnau, seconded by Mr. Breuilly, UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of December 10, 1981, as written. COMMUNICATIONS Mr. Zigmund said he had not done anymore on the advertising brochures, because Messrs. Siciliano and MoIster were going to do some checking into thisr and Mr. MoIster has the layout. Mr. Zigmund said he wouldw~~ continue to check on this. ~l ~ ~ ~~ Moved by Mrs. Massey, seconded by Mr. Landry, UNANIMOUSLY CARRIED, to table the discussion on advertising until next meeting. OLD BUSINESS Mr. Breuilly noted that Mr. Wallace, Chairman of the Zoning and Planning Board, had been invited to this meeting to have a better rapport between boards and give direction on what way to move. Mr. Wallace addressed the board as to the previous night's meeting, stating that they passed the preliminary site plan on the industrial development. There are some stipulations and conditions to be met on the northern boundary but it should not hold up progress, or from going to final approval. The Zoning and Planning Board are following new procedures and department head meetings are being held to give input and this should help to speed up the process. The FEe has put out a booklet on exactly what they are going to do and how they are planning on developing. Copies of booklet will be given to members. Mr. Breuilly asked if there is any reason why we can't expect this to be a reality and now pursue promotion. Mr. Wallace said he didn't expect any hold ups. Mr. Wallace suggested that the board invite FEC to future meetings to discuss the coordination of advertising. A letter will be sent to invite them. Moved by Mr. Breuilly, seconded by Mr. Gnau, CARRIED 6-0, to have the Publicity Chairman, Doris Massey, put an announcement in the papers about the industrial development. NEW BUSINESS Mr. Breuilly commented, and everyone agreed, that if special meetings were necessary, there would be no problem attending these meetings. Mrs. Massey said she is a member of the Industrial Board of the Edgewaterj New Smyrna Chamber and will keep us posted on any new details. Mr. Breuilly said for the record: He is the Industrial Development Board representative to the Chamber, and he will report on the happenings. The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 PM.
