should be done.
ADVERTISING
Mr Siciliano asked how we are going to advertise?
Mr. Glaser said that at a previous meeting he had asked what some of the
cost of advertising would involve, for instance brochures, newspapers,
the Wall Street Journal, trade maqazines, and that any Industrial Develop-
ment peop1e.that have access to any of these check the responses.
Mrs. Massey said that she had no preferences.
Mrs. Brown said that she thought that the Board should get the Councils
ideas. She said that her preference was a brochure type advertising.
Mrs. Mackie said that she had no preference.
Mr. Gross said that the Board should be getting ideas from the railroad to
see what kind of businesses they want on the property they own.
Mr. Siciliano said that he felt that the Wall Street Journal and Trade
Journal was better than the brochure. He said that direct mail advertising
would be the best. He has checked on good letterhead and found that
500 envelopes and 500 letterheads would cost about $49.00 from Baron
Printer. He then stated that a personal letter would be better than any-
thing else, as it almost required a written response.
BOARD COMMENTS
Mrs. Brown stated that she was in the combined federal campaign with
Vo1usia County, and that at the last luncheon they had a film for Vo1usia
County. She does not know what the cost of the film or developing, is, but
will find out. Edgewater should have a slide presentation to show new-
comers or anyone needing to know more about Edgewater. She also said that
Edgewater is going to be advertised as the Host City of a stamp and coin
show March 1st and 2nd, at the Community Center.
Mrs. Mackie made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Glaser seconded the motion.
The meeting was adjourned.
