NOVEMBER 20, 1975
The Agenda Meeting of November 20, 1975 was called to order by Mayor Dana T. Armstrong
at 7:30 in the Community Center.

Mr. Bryant stated that he had a request from Mr. Robert Garthwaite of the Merit Board.
Mr. Bryant read a letter from the Merit Board. This will be placed on the agenda.
Mr. Bryant read a letter from the Edgewater Library Board. Mrs. Irene Mackie. THis
will also be placed on the agenda.
A memorandum from the Zoning Board was read by Mr. Bryant. Referring to Mr and Mrs.
John Blanken. This will be placed on the agenda.
Communications from the Insurance Company if North America. . Notice of Cancellation
of the Workmans Compo effective December 19, 1975. We will come back to this.
A Letter from Mr. Williams was read by Mr. Bryant This letter concerning leasing a
section of the land at the park and peir for a Bait and Tackle concession. THis will
be placed on the agenda.
Mr. Bryant read a letter from the Volusia County Legislation Delgation Chairman. This
letter concerned letting the public know of a Public HeariDg that will be held for the
purpose of discussing the general legislation as well as the purpose of special legislation
the session will take place November 24, and December 3rd 1975. This will be placed
on the agenda.
Mr. Bryant read a letter form Teleprompter Mr. Jones will be at the next meeting to
discuss with the Council. This will be placed on the agenda.
Mr. Bryant read a letter form the friends of the Library asking for permission to
use property for their Art Festival. This will be placed on the agenda.
Mr. Bryant read a letter from Mr. & Mrs. J. Ashton and Mr. & Mrs. E. Hobbs this letter
was comending Officers Kelly and Realmuto for the job they are doing so well for the
City. This letter will be read at our regular meeting. And put on the agenda.

Correspondence from the North Anerican Insurance Co. were read. This will ,be placed
on the agenda. '
November 19, 1975 there was a council meeting. Mr. Aldridge and a man from Washington
meet with Mr. Bryant. Mr. Bryant was asked to have a report on this meeting for the
Council. This will be placed on the agenda.
Mr. Bevel of 2401 Pine Tree Dr. would like the Council to so some reserch and to check
with Mr. Thomas to see what the water pressure the City is r~nning at. There was a10t
of discussion on this.
Farm Home Laon will be discussed at a later date.
Mrs. Turner read her notes that she had in the water and sewer program. Mayor Armstrong
stated that we will go over this at the Monday night meeting.
Mr. Bryant stated that when talking to Mr. Aldridge he stated that we would have to
re do our loan application. Mr. Bryant will have this form filled out for Monday
meeting.
A project summary he has provided an operation budget these forms were explained by
Mr. Bryant.
There was some discussion on the loan.
There was some discussion on the dead lines and also the sanitary sewer plant.
There was some discussion on dead lines. Mr. Bevel brought up the subject of the money
that was appreperated to elimate these dead ends. this was discussed at length.
Public Hearing to increase the sewer and water rates. This will be placed on the agenda.
Councilm~n Carnie recommended that we set up an orginazational meeting sometime after
the Thanksgiving; Holidays to appoint members to the different boards,
Lt. McCall Acting cheif brought up the subject of the badly needed uniforms. for the
Police Department.
Mrs. Mackie asked about the letter regarding the Christmas party. A Copy of this
letter will be read at the regular meeting.
A Second reading on the Building Code
A First reading of the Ordinace of the City Manager
There was some discussion on City Judge Woodwow Tucker.

Mrs. Woodward asked to be resigned to the Board of Adjustments.
Mrs. Webber asked if it would be possible to have the Minutes of the Meetings read at
the meetings. They are poseted at City Hall, Community Center, and Library for all
to read.
