City Manager (1)" 20% Reduction in Millage As a result of requirements of the Truth in Millage (TRIM) Bill as well as our own investi- _ gations (see City Manager's report) an adminis- trative adjustment in millage was made at th~ office of the county "property appraiser. It would be desirable, although not mandatory, to "confirm.this millage reduction by resolution. C. Board of Governors Please note three letters, attached, from the Board of Governors. .Bob Wolfe, Chairman, will be present to discuss the field improvements. D. Home Occupation Licenses See attached. Unfinished Business A. Community Development Block Grant Agreement I have been. advised by Reginald Williams, Director of Community Development Block Grant.for Volusia County, that he intends.to have an assurance of funding for' us. If he does not have it by the time of the meeting, I suggest that you approve the agreement with the conditional clause in it. 7. New Business A. Bid Award - City Hall Roof I expect to have bids to resurface the City Hall roof, this to come from Federal Revenue Sharing funds with only a motion necessary as it is less. than 25% of the budget. . B. Bid Award - Refuse Truck This also is to came from Federal Revenue .Sharing funds but is budgeted. C. Police_Department Budget. Your approval of proposals "by Chief Baugh to expend approximately $6,900. from a special state grant is requested and al'so your approval of his plans to spend insurance reimbursement money obtained as a consequence of the Officer' McEver wreck.
