Public Hearing At the November 15 council meeting this was discussed. Cannon was present to explain. This is a joint public Section 1101.00. Action on first reading. Mr. Frank hearing per 4~Bills.andAccbunts The Council negotiated $3,000. in cash and $5,000. in professional services with Briley, Wild. The Council may wish to reduce the total of invoice 82-3346 by $3,000., leaving a balance of $352.81, and a total of $7,605.49 for the two invoices. 6. Council/Officers Reports/Boards and Committees A. City Clerk re: Home Occupational License Requests Ord. 83-0~1 returned the granting of Home Occupational Licenses to Council. 7. Communications A. Mr. Kenneth Dudley re: Installation of Crematory Unit According to the standard procedure, this information has been referred to the Zoning Commission for evaluation. B. Ms. Ann Thomas - Edgewater Public School P.T.A. President See attached. C. Mr. Ward Towers - Resignation from Planning Commission Mr. Towers submitted his letter of resignation effective January 6, 1983. The code specifies that the alternate (Fred Finn in this case) will move to the permanent position. Mr. Tower1s term is due to expire 2/1/83. We now have a vacancy for the alternate, for a one year appointment to end 2/3/84. 8. Ordinances and Resolutions G. 83-R-13 Culvert Fee Increase At the January 3, 1983 meeting, the Council authorized to increase the fee for culvert installation to $254.19 for 20 ft. and $296.99 for 30 ft. 9. Unfinished Business A. Paving Project - Florida Shores Councilman Spencer has requested a cash statement from the Finance Director and the subject of paving be put back on the agenda to discuss the methods of payment and re-calculation of assessments. B. Information Requested on Purchase Exceeding $1 ,OOO.-Parks and Recreation Department The Superintendent of Parks and Recreation received a detailed summary from Dan Cory to explain the bill over $1,000. with an estimate of $300.
