EXPLANATORY DATA
MAY 3, 1982
2. Hearings
A. Park Avenue West Re-zoning
See attached report. At your last meeting you were going
to hold a hearing on this subject but I believe I have
worked out a proposal which has been endorsed by the
Zoning Commission, which will save you the trouble.
5. Communications
C. Robert Rosa - Wildwood
See attached letter. Depending upon your reaction to the
delegation from Wildwood, I will probably recommend that
the matter be referred to Briley, Wild for investigation
and report. The ponding question raised by the Reilly
family at the last meeting would be a part of this report.

Business
Home Occupational License - Richard & Verna Culbertson
Richard and Verna Culbertson, dba Culbertson's Bookkeeping
Service, 2506 Needle Palm Drive, zoned R-2B. No visible
activity.
B. Proposed Revisions to Building Code
See attached correspondence.
C. Authority to Obtain Easement - Parking, Ballfield
See attached map excerpt. The cemetery owner has agreed
to granting a small easement near the ballfield and we
need your authority to proceed. This will be for parking
by spectators and others at games.
D. Proposed Agreement with Florida League of Cities
Attached is Florida League of Cities bulletin dated
April 16, 1982 which describes the amount of collections
made by them under special agreements with the listed
cities, this regarding delinquent license collections
from insurance companies. The situation is that certain
insurance companies do business in our city but do not
have offices here. They are, nevertheless, subject to
paying a license tax. The Florida League of Cities
will enter into an agreement with the city whereby they
collect the delinquent amounts and retain 50%. This is
something we would have trouble with since they have
access to lists of national firms and other data which
enable them to produce this information. On future
collections, of course, we would get 100%. I am attaching
the agreement and am recommending that you approve it.
