4. Consent Agenda
Items on the consent agenda are defined as routine nature
that do not warrant detailed discussion or individual
action by the Council; therefore, all items remaining on
the consent agenda shall be approved and adopted by a
single motion, second and vote by the City Co u n c i I .
Items on the consent agenda are not subject to
discussion. One of the most basic rules of a consent
agenda is that any member of the City Council may remove
any item from the consent agenda simply by verbal request
at the City Council meeting. Removing an item from the
consent agenda does not require a motion, second or a
vote; it would simply be' a unilateral request of an
individual Councilmember.
A. Approval of expenses for those wishing to
attend Florida League of Cities Legislative
Conference in Tallahassee January 17-18, 1991
B. Parks & Recreation Board's request to establish
a senior citizen ad hoc advisory committee to
study senior citizens' recreation priorities
C. Fire Chief's request to purchase six Drager
air packs under piggy back clause with Sept.
5, 1990, purchase from National Drager, Inc.
at cost of $9,252
D. Christmas food certificates of $30.00 each as
budgeted for City employees

Daytona Beach Community College Steering
Committee

A. Ord. 90-0-37 Amending Chapter 19, Sec. 19-63,
establishing a $1.60 per month fee for weekly
curbside collection service for paper, glass
and aluminum and establishing exemption

Mayor for one year terms
C. Res. 90-R-70 Endorsing and supporting areawide
transportation information service for
