RESOLUTION NO. 2004-R-14
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEW A TER, FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 2004
REGARDING THE LIMITED AD VALOREM REVENUE
BOND ELECTION AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECTS AND PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENTS;
REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida has made the following
determinations:
1. On November 2, 2004, a General Election was held regarding the Limited Ad
Valorem Revenue Bond and Capital Improvement Projects and proposed Charter Amendments.
2. All votes have been tabulated and confirmed.
3. It is necessary for the City Council to forward and declare the results of the election
regarding the City of Edgewater Limited Ad Valorem Revenue Bond and Capital Improvement
Projects and proposed Charter Amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Edge water, Florida:
Section 1. The results of the referendum question regarding Proposition 1: Limited Ad
Valorem Revenue Bond to Finance a Capital Improvement Project - New City Hall described as
follows:
a) Proposition 1: Limited Ad Valorem Revenue Bond to Finance a
Capital Improvement Project - New City Hall
In order to finance the new City Hall, shall the City (1) issue a limited ad
valorem revenue bond in a principal amount not exceeding $3,200,000, for
a term of not longer than thirty (30) years from the date of issuance and
bearing interest at an average net interest cost rate not exceeding 7%, and (2)
levy ad valorem taxes at a maximum millage rate of.41 mill on all taxable

property in the City to provide for the repayment of such bond?

hereby repealed.
Section 13. This resolution shall take effect upon adoption.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEW A TER, FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS OF
THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON NOVEMBER 2,2004
REGARDING THE LIMITED AD VALOREM REVENUE
BOND ELECTION AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROJECTS AND PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENTS;
REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida has made the following
determinations:
1. On November 2, 2004, a General Election was held regarding the Limited Ad
Valorem Revenue Bond and Capital Improvement Projects and proposed Charter Amendments.
2. All votes have been tabulated and confirmed.
3. It is necessary for the City Council to forward and declare the results of the election
regarding the City of Edgewater Limited Ad Valorem Revenue Bond and Capital Improvement
Projects and proposed Charter Amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida:
Section 1. The results of the referendum question regarding Proposition 1: Limited Ad
Valorem Revenue Bond to Finance a Capital Improvement Project - New City Hall described as
follows:
a) Proposition 1: Limited Ad Valorem Revenue Bond to Finance a
Capital Improvement Project - New City Hall
In order to finance the new City Hall, shall the City (1) issue a limited ad
valorem revenue bond in a principal amount not exceeding $3,200,000, for
a term of not longer than thirty (30) years from the date of issuance and
bearing interest at an average net interest cost rate not exceeding 7%, and (2)
levy ad valorem taxes at a maximum millage rate of.41 mill on all taxable
