Hi, I'm Edna ~' secretary of Terra Mar Village
Property Owners Association; I have here a petition signed

Owners who state they have to desire to annex into Oak
Hill. If Oak Hill is trying to annex north to Clinton Cemetery
Rd. with the intent of annexing our community into the City of
Oak Hill we want to state now, that Oak Hill has nothing to
offer us in the way of services. We are pleased with our
current services and form of government. If the time comes
when we have to annex we would prefer to be a part of the
City of Edgewater. Thank you for your time

TERRA MAR VILLAGE INTO THE CITY OF OAK HILL. FLORIDA
Meeting, Aug. 28, 6 p.m. Edgewater Community Center between Edgewater & Oak Hill
We, the homeowners of the community of Terra Mar Village, do not wish to be annexed into the City of
Oak Hill, Florida. We wish to remain unincorporated in the County of Volusia, Florida.
We receive 8_. _LUT!!6 and street maintenance from the County and do not feel that the City of Oak Hill
can contribute anything in this regard. We do not wish to have an additional tax levied on top of what we
are already paying.
As long as the County does not want to relinquish their managerial role relative to our community, we
want to remain under County management.
Again, we, the undersigned homeowners of the community of Terra Mar Village, wish to remain in

Seasonal Decorations
The Recreation/Cultural Services Board has had several discussions on seasonal
decorations for the City. The Board's recommendation in this matter would be to go with
seasonal banners.
In discussions, the following points were considered to be the deciding factors in the
choice of banners over lighted decorations.
1. Banners have much lower maintenance and would be easier to store when not
being displayed.
2. Banners are versatile and interchangeable. Christmas banners could be displayed
from Thanksgiving through the New Year and a patriotic banner could be used
for other holidays, such as 4th of July, Memorial Day, Flag Day. Some "Welcome
to Edgewater" banners could also be included.
3. Banners are much more cost effective than the lighted seasonal decorations. Many
more banners could be had for the price, and other seasonal banners could be
added to yearly, 'at minimal cost.
