Provide profile of building indicating height measured from crown of nearest roadway. Will provide something showing building will not exceed maximum height requirement. 2. Provide construction details for paving of Community Drive. Will note that pavement for Comm unity Drive will meet City Standards. Darren will speak to David .King, applicant wishes to avoid dealing with FDOT at this time. 3. Indicate location of any driveways on south side of Community Drive relative to the location of this site. Not discussed 4. Provide FDOT permit allowing the Community Drive road improvements within the US 1 right of way See note #2 5. Indicate how stormwater from paving of Community Drive will be treated. See note #2 6. The entire perimeter of the driveway and parking lot must be curbed. Curbing will be placed as indicated and also along area abutting Community Drive and driveway areas. No curbing will be required between indicated parallel parking spaces and landscape area abutting US High way 1 7. A total of nine trees are required. Eight are shown on the plan. Correct size of trees to be planted to 2 1 /a" caliper. 8 trees will be accepted— correct caliper will be noted 8. The landscape plan indicates "Heather" will be used as a shrub. Please revise with a suitable replacement. Red Berry Holly will replace Heather Building Department 1. All buildings constructed after January 25, 2007 shall have glass protection per FBC 1606.9.1.4. Noted 2. Construction drawings shall comply with the 2004 Florida Building Code with the 2006 revisions and National Electric Code, Edition 2005. Noted Environmental Services 1. Note #5 on the Paving and Grading notes should read all disturbed areas shall be sodded. Will remove reference to seeding 2. The retention area shows existing elevation but not proposed. Will revise 3. A reduced pressure backflow prevention device, which is on the City of Edgewater's approved list, will be required. Will show 4. Please add a note stating that the contractor shall provide dumpsters or containers sufficient to contain waste during construction. Dumpsterpad and detail shown on plan 5. As no details relating to the operation of the business were provided, it cannot be determined if the necessity for a grease trap at this location but it should be a consideration in the design process. Grease trap will be provided and is indicated on plan Engineer (Quentin L. Hampton Associates) 1. Site plan should be revised to show proposed pavement elevation /grades to verify stormwater run off to retention system and ADA accessibility requirements. Will indicate 2. Parking area demarcation details per FDOT should be provided. Western most driveway will be exit only. Stop bar will be added. 3. City standard construction details should be added to plans for the concrete flume and curbs. Will respond — flume is existing data will be provide by means of photographs and dimension indicated 4. Confirm that utilities are in compliance with City standards. Will respond 5. Contours in retention pond should be labeled and contours should tie in to existing contours at /near property line. Will revise 6. Pavement between south parking space and stop bar should be removed to prevent "overhang" of parked vehicles from conflicting with the driveway. Will revise 7. The south aisle is too narrow per Section 21-57. Will revise 8. The drive through aisle should be delineated and required stacking lane should be shown in accordance with Section 21-52.03. Will revise 9. Signage should be provided to delineate traffic flow /pattern. Will revise 10. Angled parking along the east side may be better option. Applicant prefers parallel parking due to aisle width 11. City Standard dumpster enclosure detail should be included. Shown on plan Fire Department 1. Indicate location of closest fire hydrant and size of water main supplying it. Will indicate 2. The required fire flow for this project is 1500 gallons per minute.
