Per Volusia County Code of Ordinances (VCCO) Appendix B Article VII — Establishment of Classifications, the maximum building height for 1 -4 INDUSTRIAL PARK CLASSIFICATION is 35 feet. According to Sheet 5.3.0 — East elevation from Air Park Road drawing, the building height is 37.2 feet. N/A 2. Revise General Note 1, 24 and 25 on Sheet I to eliminate reference to "seeded ". Will revise 3. Please provide clarification for General Note 12 on Sheet 1. See letter dated 8123 4. Indicate any proposed signage. See letter dated 8123 5. Per Environmental Assessment provided by Zev Cohen Associates, please provide 100% gopher tortoise. Will provide 6. Provide additional enclosed dumpster pad for proposed new building. See letter dated 8123 7. Indicate compliance with stormwater outfall to public conveyance requirement. See letter dated 8123 — per P.E. meets pre and post development, unchanged from existing - check with David King DRIVEWAY /ACCESS 8. Per Section 410.01 — (VCCO) — Sidewalks are required. Spaces 19 thru 59 show the dimensions to be 9' X 18'. Please revise. See letter dated 8123 10. Per Section 810.08 — (VCCO) — The proposed expansion requires 2 loading berths. Only one is shown. Please indicate on revised site plan. See letter dated 8123 LANDSCAPING 11. Per letter dated July 29, 2005 from Stephen Dougherty, the proposed landscaping is to include the trees and shrubs that were disturbed during the construction of the generator enclosure. See letter dated 8123 12. Please provide a tree survey. See letter dated 8123 — existing trees are recently planted and do not meet specimen or historic criteria. 13. Indicate which specimen and /or historic trees are to be retained and which are to be removed. See letter dated 8123 15. Per Appendix A, Article X, Section 1007 - (VCCO) — Fifteen percent (15 %) of the square footage of any development shall be designated for the protection of trees. Please indicate compliance with this requirement. See letter dated 8123 16. Please provide calculations for Volusia County Waterwise Ordinance; including Total Pervious Area; Micro Irrigation Zone; Medium Irrigation Zone; and High Irrigation Zone. See letter dated 8123 BUILDING DEPARTMENT 1. Construction drawings accepted after October 1, 2005 shall comply with the 2004 Florida Building Codes for 120 mph wind speed within the impact debris region. See letter dated 8123 2. Floor plans appear to meet the intent of the accessibility and egress codes. See letter dated 8123 FIRE DEPARTMENT 1. The required fire flow for this project is 2750 gallons per minute. If the building were protected by an automatic fire extinguishing system, this requirement would be reduced to 1250 gallons per minute. The Ownership and Encumbrance Report meets all the requirements with the following issues: a. The Attorneys' Title Fund (Owner's Form) Schedule B reflects specific encumbrances (right -of -way easement, per OR 3955, PG 4925 & corrected in OR 4082, PG 4369; easement per OR 5520, PG 1369); (copies of all should be provided from the title company); See letter dated 8123 b. The Status of Title letter from Attorney Wright, Exhibit C, also reflects encumbrances (easement, per OR 4504, PF 1074 & modified at OR5520, PG 1367; Avigation easement per OR 4504, PG 1073; development agreement per OR 4536, PG 1139; and the two listed above) (copies of all should be provided) See letter dated 8123 Once the above - listed item is in compliance, the Legal Department approves pursuant to the following: 1. compliance with all requirements of the above listed documents; and 2. compliance with all City, County, State, and Federal requirements, including the City of Edgewater's Code of Ordinances and Land Development Code ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE DEPARTMENT Terry Wadsworth/Brenda Johnson for to the developer commencing construction on the six inch (6 ") PVC water main 2. The engineer's estimate for water usage is 75, 000 gallons per month y June of 2006. It is not clear whether this is for the entire facility or just for the expansion. This needs to be clarified prior to impact fee calculations as it has a major effect on the outcome as to cost for the developer. See letter dated 8123 3. The six inch by two inch (6" X 2 ") reducer on the water service line should be placed before the meter to allow for a two inch (2 ") meter installation. Care should be taken to ensure the depth of the sewer lateral proposed for connection is of sufficient depth to provide adequate fall from the new building. See letter dated 8123 All water and wastewater construction proposed for this project must comply with the most recent edition of the City of Edgewater Standard Construction Details. An easement over the 6" water main and hydrant is required. It may be desirable to relocate proposed hydrant to property line. See letter dated 8123 2. Sewer connection is not shown on the plans. See letter dated 8123 3. Water service connection should be by tap versus 6" x 2" reducer. Will add preventors on Fire Main to sprinklers and On upstream side. 4. County use permit is required for the water line across Airpark. See letter dated 8123 PARKING/LOADING 8. Defer to City staff regarding required number of spaces. See letter dated 8123 9. Two loading spaces are required per 21- 57.05b. See letter dated 8123 10. Three handicapped parking spaces are required per the building code. See letter dated 8123 OTHER 11.
