Minutes
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Wessler called the special meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. in
the Community Center for the purpose of certifying the results of
the special election held May 27, 1992.

Resolution No. 92-R-11
A Resolution of the city Council of the city of Edqewater,
Florida, declarinq the results of the soecial Election held May
27, 1992: reoealinq resolutions in conflict herewith and
orovidinq for an effective date.
Mayor Wessler read Resolution No. 92-R-11 in its entirety.
Councilman Jones moved to adopt Resolution No. 92-R-11.
Councilman Hays seconded the motion. Motion CARRIED 5-0.
Mayor Wessler thanked everyone involved in the Charter Review
process. She especially thanked the City Attorney.
All the Council members thanked the community, the Charter Review
Committee, and expressed their pride in this accomplishment.
Dominick Fazzone, 302 Paradise Lane, reviewed the process that
has been followed in developing this charter for the community.
He thanked everyone involved, crediting the present City Council
with the courage to take this issue to the voters, especially at
this time.
Jack Havman, 3003 Travelers Palm, expressed his pleasure with the
passing of the charter, but reminded everyone that we now have to
work towards an administrative code for our City government to
follow.
Pat Montrowl, 331 Schooner Avenue, complimented the Council for
the dedication and commitment they have demonstrated to the
entire community. She explained that through her conversations
with the public, the consensus is the public wants strong
leadership who will deal with the issues directly and who will
provide the correct information to them.
ADJOURN
Councilman Jones moved to adjourn. Councilperson Gillespie
seconded the motion. Meeting adjourned, 9:17 a.m.
