CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Hayman called the special meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in
the Edgewater Library.

Statement of Meetinq Purpose by the Mayor
Mayor Hayman explained the meeting is for the purpose of
considering and possibly adopting Resolution 93-R-26, recognizing
October 27, 1993, as National Unfunded Mandates Day, and to educate
the media and citizens about constraints unfunded mandate
compliance place on local government budgets.
City Manager McMahon briefed the Council on Resolution 93-R-26.
Mayor Hayman read Resolution 93-R-26 in full.
Councilwoman Martin moved for
seconded by Councilman Jones.
approval of Resolution
The motion CARRIED 5-0.
93-R-26,
The Council decided by general consensus that Saturday, October
30th be designated as Halloween in the city.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Councilman Hays made a
motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilman Mitchum. The meeting
adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
