WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida has been requested to vacate Ida Drive, said street being within the 1 . C of Edgewater, Florida, being approximately 5 0.23 feet wide and 125 feet deep and lying situate between Lots 155 and 156. Edgewater Acres, Unit No. 5, as per map recorded in Mae Peek 11, page 299, Public Records of Volusia County, Florida, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida has by resolution declared its intent to vacate the said street, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held August 31, 1966 for the purpose of hearing objections on the vacating of the said street, and there . being no objections, , . NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Ida ::1. a public street in the City of Edgewater, .:" orida be and the same is hereby vacated and the City of Edgewater, Florida does hereby relinquish and disclaim any interest, title or . I j claim'of ownership in and to the said Ida Drive. I ' Section 2. That the fee simple title to the said Ida Drive shall • revert to the adjacent and abutting property owner or owners, that is the owner or owners of Lots 155 and 156 in the said Edgewater Acres, Unit No.' 5 in accordance with the law in effect in the State of Florida. Section. 3. That the City of Edgewater, Florida shall no longer be • liable for the maintenance or upkeep of the said Ida Drive, and the same shall ceased to be public property. Section A._' That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded. Section 5. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
