CASE SUMMARY

DESCRIPTION:
Michael & Mary Earls are the owners of the property located at 1622 Pine Tree Drive.;
Edgewater, Florida. It has been found in violation of Section 10 -83 (Neglected Premises).
BACKGROUND:
On June 1, 2011 Code Enforcement received an anonymous call in reference to the scrap in the
yard. A notice of violation was issued with a compliance date of June 11, 2011. On July 7, 2011
a citation was posted at the property, city hall and mailed (certified). As of August 11, 2011 the
property is not in compliance.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the Board find the Earl's in violation of Section 10 -83 of the Code of
Ordinances and continue the citation fine of $75.00, an additional fine of $50.00 per day, each
day the violation exists past August 12, 2011 and for a lien to be placed on the property if not
satisfied by August 17, 2011.
