WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. The character of the existing development along certain portions of Hibiscus and Guava Drives is industrial in nature. It is appropriate that infill uses established in these areas develop as industrial uses rather than commercial. 2. On September 28, 1994, the Land Development and Regulatory Agency considered the proposed change in Future Land Use designation and by a vote of 6 to 0 recommended approval. On July 26, 1995, the LDRA reconfirmed their previous approval of the proposed change. 3. On July 1, 1996, the City Council considered on first reading and held the first required public hearing to consider the proposed change in the Future Land Use designation. Pursuant to Section 163.3184(15) (b), Florida Statutes, on June 25, 1996, the notice of such hearing was published in The Daily Journal of the News-Journal. 4. Pursuant to Section 163.3187(15) (b), Florida Statutes, on , the City Council held the second required public hearing to consider the change in the Future Land Use designation after publishing notice of such hearing in The Daily Journal of the News-Journal on NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the People of the City of Edgewater, Florida: stt tick tilt ough passages are deleted.
