92-O-16 l '-" .."., ORDINANCE NO. 92-0-16 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 91-0-10, THE FINAL BUDGET ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1991, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1992, BY AMENDING CERTAIN REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE ITEMS OF THE GENERAL FUND; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS, SEVERABILITY AND APPLICABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; PROVIDING FOR ADOPTION. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, has made the following determinations: 1. It is necessary to amend certain items of revenues and expenditures of the General Fund for the fiscal year 1991 - 1992 as established by Ordinance No. 91-0-10. 2. These amendments are more particularly set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED by the People of the City of Edgewater, Florida: PART A. AMENDMENT OF FISCAL YEAR 1991 - 1992 BUDGET. 1. The amended budgets for the City of Edgewater as set forth in "Exhibit A" are hereby adopted as the official budget of the City of Edgewater for the fiscal year 1991 - 1992. 2. The amount of monies anticipated to be collected from the sources of revenue for the General Fund of the City of Edgewater, Florida, during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1991, and ending September 30, 1992, is amended as follows: GENERAL FUND REVENUE 1991 - 1992 Source of Revenue Amount Anticipated Current ad valorem taxes $ 1,451,908 $ 1, 490,090 Other revenues 4,199,813 3,421,523 $ 5,651,721 Total $ 4,911,613 3. The estimated General Fund expenditures for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1991, and ending September 30, 1992, is amended from $5,651,721 to $4,911,613. Struck through passages are deleted. All conflicting ordinances and resolutions, or parts thereof in conflict with this ordinance, are hereby superseded by this ordinance to the extent of such conflict. PART C. SEVERABILITY AND APPLICABILITY. If any portion of this ordinance is for any reason held or declared to be unconstitutional, inoperative, or void, such holding shall not affect the remaining portions of this ordinance. If this ordinance or any provisions thereof shall be held to be inapplicable to any person, property, or circumstances, such holding shall not affect its applicability to any other person, property, or circumstance. PART D. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect upon adoption. PART E. ADOPTION. After Motion by Councilperson Gillespie and Second by Councilman Hays, the vote on the first reading of this ordinance held on August 3, 1992, was as follows: Mayor Tanya B.
