MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
Vice Mayor Bennington called the Special Meeting /Closed Attorney
Client Session to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
ANNOUNCEMENT
City Attorney Wolfe advised Council he needed their advice in serving
the litigation brought by Laura Muniz v. the City of Edgewater Police
Department regarding an EEOC Charge.
Vice Mayor Bennington announced the Closed Attorney Client Session
between the City of Edgewater City Council and its City Attorney would
commence and those not authorized to attend would be asked to exit the
room during the course of the meeting. She expected the closed
session to take approximately one hour. She then identified the names
of those who would be in attendance. Staff was not permitted in the
Closed Attorney Client Session.
City Manager Barlow asked that the record reflect that Mayor Thomas
was excused.
The meeting was recessed at 5:01 p.m. in order for the meeting to be
moved to the City Hall Conference Room.
Vice Mayor Bennington announced the Closed Attorney Client Session had
been concluded and that the public meeting would be reopened at 6:00
p.m.
ADJOURNMENT
Vice Mayor Bennington adjourned the Special Meeting at 5:39 p.m.
