RESOLUTION NO. 94-R-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, DECLARING THE RESULTS
OF THE PRIMARY ELECTION HELD SEPTEMBER 8,
1994; DECLARING THE CANDIDATES FOR THE GENERAL
ELECTION FOR CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON
NOVEMBER 8, 1994; PROVIDING FOR APPOINTMENT OF
ELECTION WORKERS FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION BY
THE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OF VOLUSIA COUNTY;
REPEALING RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
has made the following determinations:
1. A primary election was held on September 8, 1994, for the
purpose of determining the City Council candidates for the November
8, 1994 general election.
2. All votes have been tabulated and confirmed.
3. It is necessary for the City Council to forward to the
Supervisor of Elections a list of City Council candidates for the
November 8, 1994, general election.
4. It is necessary for the City Council to provide for the
appointment of election workers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Edgewater, Florida:
Section 1. The candidates in the September 8, 1994 primary
election received the number of votes as set forth below:

Section 3. The election workers for the November H, 1994,
general election shall be appointed by the Supervisor of Elections
for Volusia County, Florida.
Section 4. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and same are hereby repealed.
Section S. This resolution shall take effect upon adoption.
After Motion by Councilman Jones and Second by Councilman Mitchum,
the vote on this resolution was as follows:
