CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Linda Johnson called the regular meeting of the Code Enforcement
Board to order at 2:07 PM in the Community Center.
ROLL CALL
Members present: Linda Johnson, Ed Corn, Glenn Barnhill, Gail Anderson, Ben
Wagner, and Alice Haldeman. Also present were Code Officer Mike McGrath and
Board Coordinator Shontella Jackson.
Absent and excused was Sherry Lester.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Minutes for the regular meeting of May 10, 2012 were presented to the
Board for approval. MOTION by Ben Wagner, SECOND by Alice Haldeman
to adopt the minutes of Regular Citizen Code Enforcement Board on
May 10, 2012 as written. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.

Case #2012-CE-105867 (Repeat) 1800 S. Riverside Dr., Edgewater, FL; Deutsche
Bank National Tr. Co. Tr., Violation of Section 10-98 (Property maintenance) was
maintained and voided.
Case #2012-CE-105603 A & B 919 S. Ridgewood Ave., Edgewater, FL; Michael
H. & Connie Yelvington, Violation of Section 10-83 (Neglected premises) and
Violation of Section 21-36.03 (Outdoor storage commercial) was tabled.
NEW BUSINESS:
Case #2012-CE-105803 (Repeat) 143 Wildwood Ave., Edgewater Florida; Amil
Bojkovsky, Violation of Section 10-98 (Property maintenance).
Code Officer Mike McGrath presented the case summary to the Board. Code
Officer Mike McGrath presented staff's recommendation to find Amil Bojkovsky in
repeat violation of Section 10-98 of the Code of Ordinances assessing a citation
fine of $150.00 and an additional fine of $100.00 per day per violation that
continues to exist past June 15, 2012 and for a lien to be placed on the property
if not satisfied by June 20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a
Board Order requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the grass if the
violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on the
property. Code Officer Mike McGrath testified that the property was vacant and
the grass and weeds exceed 12 inches. No one was present to testify.
MOTION by Gail Anderson, SECOND by Glenn Barnhill that the Board
finds Amil Bojkovsky in repeat violation of Section 10-98 of the Code of
Ordinances assessing the citation fine of $150.00 and additional fine of
$100.00 per day for each day the violation exists past May 11, 2012

2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a Board Order
requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the grass if the
violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on

Roberts, Violation of Section 10-98 (Property Maintenance).
Code Officer Mike McGrath presented the case summary to the Board. Code
Officer Mike McGrath presented staff's recommendation to find Kimberly M.
Roberts in violation of Section 10-98 of the Code of Ordinances assessing a
citation fine of $75.00 and an additional fine of $50.00 per day per violation that
continues to exist past June 15, 2012 and for a lien to be placed on the property
if not satisfied by June 20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a
Board Order requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the grass if the
violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on the
property. Code Office Mike McGrath stated the grass and weeds exceed 14" and
the certified mail was unclaimed. No one was present to testify.

MOTION by Glenn Barnhill, SECOND by Ed Corn that the Board finds
Kimberly M. Roberts in violation of Section 10-98 of the Code of
Ordinances assessing the citation fine of $75.00 and an additional fine
of$50.00 per day per violation that continues to exist past June 15,
2012 and for a lien to be placed on the property if not satisfied by June
20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a Board Order
requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the grass if the
violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on
the property. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY 6-0.
Case #2012-CE-105774, 3329 Woodland Dr., Edgewater Florida; Brian & Lynda
Dame, Violation of Section 10-98 (Property maintenance).
Code Officer Mike McGrath presented the case summary to the Board. Code
Officer Mike McGrath presented staff's recommendation to find Brian & Lynda
Dame in violation of Section 10-98 of the Code of Ordinances assessing a citation
fine of $75.00 and an additional fine of $50.00 per day for each day the violation
exists past June 15, 2012 and for a lien to be placed on the property if not
satisfied by June 20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a Board
Order requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the grass if the
violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on the
property. Code Officer Mike McGrath stated the property is vacant and the grass
and weeds exceed 18". No one was present to testify.

and for a lien to be placed on the property if not satisfied by June 20,
2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a Board Order
requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the grass if the
violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on
the urouerty. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY 6-0.

the Code of Ordinances assessing the citation fine of$150.00 and an
additional fine of $100.00 per day for each day the violation exists past
June 15, 2012 and for a lien to be placed on the property if not
satisfied by June 20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board
issue a Board Order requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of
the grass if the violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a

LP, Violation of Section 10-4 (Nuisance generally).
Code Officer Mike McGrath presented the case summary to the Board. Code
Officer Mike McGrath presented staff's recommendation to find E H Pooled 911
LP in violation of Section 10-4 of the Code of Ordinances assessing a citation fine
of $75.00 and an additional fine of $50.00 per day for each day the violation
exists past June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on the property if not satisfied
by June 20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a Board Order
requesting the City Manager approve the removal of the debris if the violation is
not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on the property. No one
was present to testify. Officer Mike McGrath stated the certified mail was signed
and the property is vacant. A photograph was entered and labeled exhibit A for
the Board to review. No one was present to testify.
MOTION by Alice Haldeman, SECOND by Ed Corn that the Board finds E
H Pooled 911 LP in violation of Section 10-4 of the Code of Ordinances
continuing the citation fine of $75.00 and an additional fine of $50.00
per day each day the repeat violation exists past June 15, 2012 and for
a lien to be placed on the property if not satisfied by June 20, 2012. It
is also recommended that the Board issue a Board Order requesting the
City Manager approve the removal of the debris if the violation is not
corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on the property.
MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY 6-0.
Case #2012-CE-105805, 1416 Victory Palm Dr., Edgewater Florida; GMAC
Mortgage LLC, Violation of Section 10-98 (Property maintenance).
Code Officer Mike McGrath presented the case summary to the Board. Code
Officer Mike McGrath presented staff's recommendation to find GMAC Mortgage
LLC in violation of Section 10-98 of the Code of Ordinances assessing a citation
fine of $75.00 and an additional fine of $50.00 per day for each day the violation
exists past June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on the property if not satisfied
by June 20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a Board Order
requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the grass if the violation is

MOTION by Gail Anderson, SECOND by Glenn Barnhill that the Board
finds GMAC Mortgage LLC in violation of Section 10-98 of the Code of
Ordinances continuing the citation fine of$75.00 and an additional fine
of $50.00 per day each day the repeat violation exists past June 15,
2012 and for a lien to be placed on the property if not satisfied by June
20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a Board Order
requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the grass if the
violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on
the property. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY 6-0.
Case #2012-CE-105866 (Repeat), 2924 Vista Palm Dr., Edgewater Florida; Tanya
Maria Sievert, Violation of Section 10-98 (Property maintenance).
Code Officer Mike McGrath presented the case summary to the Board. Code
Officer Mike McGrath presented staff's recommendation to find Tanya Maria
Sievert in repeat violation of Section 10-98 of the Code of Ordinances assessing a
citation fine of $150.00 and an additional fine of $100.00 per day for each day
the violation exists past June 15, 2012 and for a lien to be placed on the
property if not satisfied by June 20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board
issue a Board Order requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the
grass if the violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed

20, 2012. It is also recommended that the Board issue a Board Order
requesting the City Manager approve the cutting of the grass if the
violation is not corrected by June 15, 2012 and that a lien is placed on
the property. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY 6-0.
