91-R-25u RESOLUTION NO. 91-R-25 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH COUNTY OF VOLUSIA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE SALE OF PARCELS 53 AND 54 AT ROTARY PARK IN CONJUNCTION WITH VOLUSIA COUNTY'S PARK AVENUE WIDENING PROJECT; REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of Edgewater, Florida, on January 14, 1991, accepted an offer from the County of Volusia to purchase parcels 53 and 54 as a part of Volusia County's Park Avenue widening project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: The City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, authorizes the appropriate officials of the City of Edgewater, Florida to execute necessary documents for the sale of Parcels 53 and 54 to the County of Volusia for the amount of $9,715.00. SECTION 2: A copy of said documents is attached to this resolution and by reference incorporated herein as if fully set forth and marked Exhibit "A". SECTION 3: That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: That this resolution shall take effect immedi- ately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of Edge- water, Florida, at a special meeting of said Council held on the 5 day of .rune '199 1 , and approved as provided by law. This resolution was introduced and sponsored by Councilperson Gillespie and was read and passed by a vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a Special meeting of said Council held on the 5 day of June 199 1 , and authenticated as provided by law.
