Regular meeting of the council of the Town of Edgewater Fla.Eayor b'itcheli in chair.
Councilmen present: C.A.Ashcraft,.,r.B.Haughton, E.H.Lohmen
Absent: F.I.Ca.rr, H.H.Reulerson
The special committee arpointed it interview owners of property abbutting the old
drainage ditch lying parallel to,and betweenithe F.E.C.Ry.end Dixie highway reported
they had seen about three fourths of the owners,who hold approximately eighty per cent
of the property,and found them ell to be in favor cf opening,cleaning,and grading the
ditch so as to properly drain adjacent territory.
On motion duly made and carried the same committee was continued with instructions to
secure an engineer tt set the grede,to see the balance of the property ow.ners,end
to solicit bids for performing the work.
bass Iarshail was present end made complaint about the removal of send from Pelmwgy
The council decided that in case there was insufficient send to refill the ditch
bordering Falmwey,the town would furnish the necessary balance.
lotion by :.'.B.Haughton,-seconded by E.H.Lohmen: Ordinance number one shell be amended
so as to read"that all ordinances passed by the town council of Edgewater shall be
published one time weekly for four consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general
circulat&tnO or posted inthree conspicuous places in said town for a period of thirty

Ordinance number five passed to third reading by unanimous vote of councilmen present
roved by r.B.Haughton seconded by E.H.Lohmen that the clerk be authorized to draw
en order on the treasurer in favor of himself for twenty-five dollers,for services
