Motion: by E. Vii. Lohman, seconded by A. B. Wilkinson, that
clerk send Pullman uomnany a bill for taxes as per
statement from office of state comptroller. Parried.
Motion: by A. R. Patch, seconded by u. Lohman, that
clerk write state comptroller regarding the ton;n's
pro-rata share, if any, of gasoline tax and auto-
mobile license tax. uarried.
Motion: by A. R. Patch, seconded by A. B. Wilkinson, that
clerk be authorized to sec:zre necessary stationery
and similiar sunnlies. uarried.
motion: by A. R. Patch, seconded by T. n. warren, to refer
to finance committee the ,uestion of surety bonds
for treasurer and tax collector, to be repo -ted on
at next meeting of the council. Carried.

Motion: by A. H. Patch, seconded by E. H. Lohman, that
?resident r'ee be appointed a committee of one
to see Roy. Mathewson about tax bills for the
town, with regard to when they will be completed
and delivered to the council. Motion put by
mayor Zinpe.rer, and carried.
motion: by A. R. Patch, seconded by T. tt. Warren, that
• clerk be instructed to serve notice on former
marshall, nay isallentyne, that his term` of office
hod expired, and re nest him to deliver to the
council all property of the town that might be
in his possession. carried.
motion: by A. B. ''lilkinson, seconded by A. R. patch, to
refer to committee on building_ and construction
the matter of jail or lockup, and the matter of
town marshall. carried.
The matter of employment or retaining a town
attorney was discussed by the council, and after
such discussion, the clerk was instructed by the
!president to ask for bids for this service from
a number of legal firms and attorneys, to report
oh same at next meeting of council.
k,lerk was also Instructed to secure bids on
furniture and equipment for proposed tax collector
and clerk s office.
