Called to order at 8 pm by Mayor Zipperer.
Minutes of previous meeting approved as read.
COMMUNICATIONS:
W. G. Brown, of F. E. C. Ry., relative to
drainage west of railroad. Communication
referred to drainage committee for action and
report.
BILLS AND ACCOUNTS:
Following bills approved by Finance Committee:
Anna D. Wetherell, f6.00 Warrant #168
On motion by Mr. Patch, seconded by Mr.
Lohman, the bill was ordered paid.
REPORTS:
Clerk reported that fiscal statement had
not yet been completed, due to reports of all
officers not yet in hand. Mr. Patch moved
that fiscal report be made at next regular
meeting. Seconded by Mr. Lohman, and carried.
ORDINANCES:
The Ordinance Committee reported ordinance
number 15, entitled- "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR
ISSUANCE OF OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE, TIME AND
EXPIRATION THEREOF: OATH REQUIRED PROVIDING FOR
PENALTY FOR THE FAILURE TO TAKE OUT LICENSE
PROVIDING FOR RECORDATION, TRANSFER, AND POSTED
FORM AND FEES TO BE CHARGED".
Mr. Patch moved that the rules be suspended,
and ordinance #15 passed to it's third and final
reading. Seconded by Mr. Lohman, record vote taken:
Ayes: E. H. Lohman; A. R. Patch; H. L. Spicer
Noes: None
Ordinance #15 was thereupon passed with the
unanimous vote of all present.
MISCELLEANOUS:
Representative of the ilcrida Amusement Oompany
came before the council with request for license
to exhibit in Edgewater during week of February 14th.
Mr. Lohman moved that the license be issued by
clerk in the usual manner, collecting fees as provided
by ordinance, and that the concession be granted.
Seconded by Mr. Spicer, and unanimously carried.
STREETS:
DRAINAGE:
Mr. Patch moved that Mayor Zipperer be authorized
to disburse an amount not in excess of fifty dollars
in having the drainage canal west of Dixie Highway,
cleaned out, between Park Avenue and the Gabardy Canal.
Seconded by Mr. Lohman, and unanimously passed.
Mr. Lohman moved that the body adjourn. Seconded
by Mr. Patch, and adjourned.
