Minutes of previous regular meeting approved as read.
minutes of called meeting held April 26th approved as read.
COMMUNICATIONS:
State Board of health: in re Highland Shores
Drainage canal. mr. Patch moved that clerk immediately
handle this matter with mr. A. S. Barnhart, of nighlsnd Shores,
along the lines of State Board of health .s letter, for authority
to open the canal through Highland ihores, and allow expense
to stand as a lien on the property. seconded by mr.
Brinokerhoff, and carried.
H. B. Ashcraft: Tendering resignation as
Tax Assessor. mr. Patch monad that the resignation be
accepted, and that clerk acknwledge receipt of the letter.
Seconded by Mr. Lohman, and carried.

nEPORTS OF OFFICERS:
r iscal report for month of march was suomitted
by cleric, listing income during march as $1022.18, disbursements
as 01959.25, net balance on hand April is t of 01125.14. On motion
by Mr. Patch, seconded by mr. Brinokerhoff, the report was
accented and ordered filed.

REPORT OF MAYOR
TO THE HONORABLE TOWN COUNCIL:
1 hand you herewith a full report of all
work done under my supervision, in accordance with instructions
received from your body and from sour uommittee on Streets
and Highways since the last regular meeting of the uouncil.
Cleaning, trimming trees and burning rubbish
on Park Avenue from the Dixie Highway to the Railroad, during
the we if April 11th, total labor cost of the week of
*58.50. This amount 1 advanced from my personal funds, and
I have been reimbursed by the council for same.
Work for the week following was done as below:
4 days labor, completing the cleaning, and brushing of
Park Avenue from 'Axle highway to Railroad, at 03.00 per
day, a total of 012.00. This cost, added to cost of work
done during week of April 11th, brings total cost of Park
Avenue work to the amount *70.50 for the job.
By order of the uouncil and the Committee on
Drainage and sanitation, work was started on cleaning canal
west of Railroad week of April 18th, labor for that week on
canal being 021.00. Labor on cleaning canal for week of
April 25th, amounts to 018.00, a total cost up to and
including April 29th of 039.00 on cleaning canal.
1 have advanced from my private finds, to
meet labor ieyurolls, the amount of *12•00 on Park Avenue,
and 039.00 on cleaning canal, or a total of *51.00, and I
respectfully ask that the Council reimburse me for these
expenditures. Receipted bills for labor in this amount,
are in the hands of the ulerk.

On motion by mr. Patch, seconded by mr. brinckerhoff,
the report of Mayor Zipperer was accepted, and made a part of the
minutes of this meeting.
IEPORTS OF CO!IMITTEES:
Street uommittee, A. R. Patch, chairman:
Your committee met with property owners along the 1
old county road, to consult with them as to the establishment
of lines and location, with a view of setting a street. The
Committee found that they property owners could not agree
among themselves as to the location, lines or width of the
street. The committee recommends that no action be taken
and that the matter be closed, until such time as the property
owners can agree among themselves, as to just what they want.
on motion by mr. Lohman, seconded by tar. Brinckerhoff,
the report was accepted,and made a part of the minutes of this
meeting.
uNFIHISHED BUSINESS:
Mr. nrinckerhoff moved that the sum of ten dollars
be appropriated for Drainage Uommittee, to complete the project
of cleaning a canal west of nailroad. Seconded by mr. patch,
and carried.
Mr. Patch moved that the body adjourn. seconded by
Mr. nrinckerhoff, and adjourned.
