Meeting called to order at 8 :30 P. M. by Mayor Zipperer,
who presided in the absence of 'rest . Patch.
Minutes of previous meeting a)proved as read.
COMMUNICATIONS:
Communication for County Clerk of Brevard
County stating that Brevard County had no portable cages
for sale , was tabled on motion by Mr. Lohman, seconded
by Mr. De,+itte.
BILLS AID ACCOUNTS:
The following bills were approved by the

On motion by Mr. DeViitte, seconded by
Mr. Spicer the bills were ordered paid.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS:
Upon motion by Mr. Spicer, seconded by
Mr. Deiitte, the fiscal report of Clerk for month of
January was accepted and ordered spread upon the minutes .
REPORTS OF SPECIAL CO fl ITT +ES:
The special committee on street lights,
consisting of Mayor ^ipperer and Mr. Spicer, stated that
no report was yet ready on the matter.
UtTFINISHED TUSIN.CSS:
The Resignation of Jilkinson was brought
up for discussion. Upon motion by Mr. Spicer, seconded
by Mr. DeWitte, the resignation was accepted.
Upon motion of Mr. Spicer, seconded by Mr.
Lohman, clerk was instructe to advise Mr. Jilkinson of
this action, and to express the regret of the Mayor and
Council; and to state the appreciation for his service
with the mmnicipal government .

iJ.'ew BUSINESS:
Mr. H. H. Chadwick requested permission
to cut a tree on the street in front of his property
on Merrimack Avenue. After discussion, this permission
was granted upon motion of Mr. :.ipicer, seconded by Mr.
Lohman, it being understood that the tree would be taken
completely, out, including stump, hole filled in and the
cutting done in such manner that no damage would result
to neighboring property.
Clerk stated that due to an error at time
of tax sale held on June 7th, 1926 , two tax sale certificates
were on record against Mr. Chadwick's property, although
lie. Chadwick held original paid tax receipts for the taxes
in question. These certificates were being held by the
Town, and upon recommendation of the Clerk, the Council ,
by Motion of Mr. Spicer, seconded by Mr. De.iitte, authorized
Clerk to cancel the two certificates in question, being
certificates Nos. 29 and 30, and authorized the payment
of $1.00 recordation fee to the Clerk of Circuit Court at
LeLand, to clear the same from county records.
Upon motion by Mr. Loh_ , seconded by
Mr. De. itte, the meeting was adjourned.
