Minutes of called meeting held September 10th, were , upon
motion by Mr.Spicer, seconded by Mr.Lohcan, approved as
read.
COMMUNICATIONS ;
Letter from Mr.Bigelow, relative taxes for
1928 , read, and upon motion Mr.Lohman seconded by Et.bpicer,
tabled. Motion carried unanimouslx.No other complaints were
made by anyone ,on the proposed as,aessment and levy for 1920.

and passed by the unanimous vote of all members present.

A RESOLUTION:
W1 RA'S ;
The fiscal year will close on or about the First
Day of November 1928. , and it appearing proper and neces3ary,
that a the books and records of the Town Clerk,ana-Tigeaa ,
Town Tax Collector and Town Treasurer, should be audited,
said audit to be made in time for a report to be furnished
• the Town Council at its first :;,leeting in November, 1928,
1101 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT, THE Auditing Committee ,
duly apjointed by The Town Council, be and hereby is ,ins-
tructed to secure and instruct a competent Auditor, to Audit
the books and records of The Town Clerk, The Town Treasurer,
and The Town Tax Collector, Beginning hot earlier than `'ov-
ember the .eirst 1928, and completing the audit not later than
the First 7Cianday in November, being November 4th. Said audit
to furnish a complete and compltehensive statement in proper
form, of the condition of the books of said officers .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, T IAT, The Auditing Committee is here-
by authorized to pay said Auditors OR AUDITORS ,a proper and
reasonable amount for services as rendered taxtEmxalazxg in
making said audit.

Motion by Mr.Spicer, seconded by Mr.Lohman, that clerk be
instructed to telegraph Mr.DeWitte, and ascertain if he
expected to return to complete his term, and if not , to
let the Uouncil have his resignation, in order that his
successor might be chosen at the General Election to be held
in November. notion unanimously carried, and clerk instructs.

that of President Patch, requesting him to reply by wire ,
collect.
Motion, by Mr.Spicer, seconded by Mr Lohman, that meeting
adjourn until Friday night,OctoberdYth. , at 8 p.m. at which
time business of completing the tax assessment, and preparing
for General Election to be held in November would be taken ui
Motion carried. , and meeting declared adjourned until Friday
t October/$th 1928 , at 8 Ociock p.m.
