MINUTES: Minutes of regular meeting held Nov 6th,1928, were read by Clerk M.L.Fuller, and upon motion by Ald. Smith,seconded by . Ald. Lohman, approved and adopted as read. REPORTS OF OFFICERS: Marshall P .H .Simpson ,reported that ski.gns he was instructed to secure , were being painted and would soon be ready for erection. REPORT OF ELECTION BOARD: Canvassing Boardd' report of General Elec- tion held November 12th 1928 , was read by Clerk. Aid. E .H.Lohman then offered the following Resolution: i New Smyrna, Florida. November 10,1928 To the Audit Committee, Totvn of Edgewater, Fla. Gentlemen: {{ In accordance with your request, I have audited the accounts and records of the Clerk, Tax Collector and Treasurer. Submitted herewith you will find Settlement, Exhibits, Statement of Receipts and Disbursements, and all necessary schedules for the period November 1, 1927 to October 31, 1928. Respectfully, -Public Accountant- Accountant-In-C-erge. 854 1 E IOW COMMENTS Insomuch as no business has been transacted from October 31, 1928 to November 10, 1928, except by the Treasurer, whose statement extends to November 4, 1928, in order to include the payment of all accounts to date, the report may be extended to November 10, if desired. All bank balances have been checked in detail and found. correct. No outstanding checks or other liabilities encumber the balances as shown. The authority for all disbursements has been verified and warrants are on file to cover same. The collection of taxes by the Tax Collector was approximately 87.9%. In addition a substantial amount has been collected since the Tax Sale by the Clerk. In conclusion I wish to gratefully acknowledge the splendid co-operation given me by the officers of the Town during this audit. 1 f 140411000# �.
