COUNCIL , TOWN OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA
COUNTY, FLORIDA, HELD IN THE TOWN HALL,
ON THURSDAY OCTOBER 17 A.D. 1929.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P .M. by Mayor Lembeck.

CALL FOR MEETING:
Clerk read the call for the meeting, issued
by Mayor Lembeck, as follows it Your are hereby notified, that
I have called a special meeting of the Town Council, Town of
Edgewater, to convene at the Town Hall, on Thursday October
17th A.D. 1929 , at 7:30 O'-clock P .M. for the Purpose of Approv
ing bills for payment, for the purpose of appointing Clerk and
Inspectors for the Annual Election to be held November 5th A.D,
1929, and for the purpose of instructing the Town Clerk, the
amount of Discount to be allowed on taxes for the year 1929."

Barman Renwick made motion that Clerk
draw warrants on the Town Treasurer, for the amounts enumarated
above , and pay the bills in the amounts as read. Motion sec-
onded by Aid. H.A.Moore , and carried.
APPOINTIVENT OF CLERK AND INSPECTORS FOR THE ANNUAL ELECTION
TO BE HELL) TUESDAY NOVEMBER $th A.D. 1929.
Aid. W.T.Goodyear made motion that Mrs.W.H.Beckwith, Mr.M.B .
Haughton, Mr.A.L. Lamont and brs.Euceba D. Reed, be appointed
Clerk and Inspectors, in the order named, of the Annual Election
to be held Tuesday November 5th A.D. 1929.
DISCOUNT ON 1929 Taxes to be Allowed:
AId.F.R.Renwick made motion that Clerk allow discounts of: 4%
in- November 1929 , 3% in December 1929,2% in January 1930 and
February 1930, for taxes collected for the year A.D. 1929.
