Minutes of regular meeting held Tuesday December 3rd were
read and on motion of Ald.W.T .Goodyear seconded by Ald.
H.P.Wilkinson, approved. Motion carried.

ermined by Town Council. Motion carried.

A RESOLUTION EMPLOYING LEGAL COUNSEL
FOR THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA,
FORW THE PURPOSE OF REVISING AND OR
CODIFYING THE ORDINANCES OF SAID TOWN;
PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF SUCH LEGAL
COUNSEL: PROVIDING FOR THE DURATION
OF SUCH COUNSEL AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION
THEREFOR.
Whereas:
The Town Council of the Town of Edgewater,Florida,
did, at it meeting held, Tuesday December 17th,A.D.
1929, among other things, agree upon a motion duly
made and carried, to have the Ordinances of the
Town of Edgewater, revised and codified, and WHEREAS,
Said motion, provided for the employment of Attorney
John Buss , to perform and accomplish the revision of
Thw Ordinances of the Town of Edgewater,Florida,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE TOWN COUNCIL,
OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1.
That Attorney John Dues, be, and he is , hereby employ-
ed and authorized by the Town Council of the Town of
Edgewater, Florida, to revise and codify, the Ordinances
of the Town of Edgewater, in such manner as may be
acceptable to the Committee on By-Laws and Ordinances,
and subject to the full acceptances of the Town Council.
Section 2.
It shall be the duty of Attorney John Dues to confer
with the members of the Ordinance Committee of the
Town Council of the Town of Edgewater, in preparing
and revising the Ordinances of said Town, such Ord-
inances to be drawn subject to the restrictions and
provisions of Section 1 of this Resolution.
Section 3.
Upon the completion of such revision and codifying
as provided in Sections 1 and 2 of this Resolution,
and the acceptance of the complete& work of Attorney
Duss , in the matter of said Ordinances , The
Town Council shall pay to Attorney Duss the sum of
One Hundred and Fifty Dollars l 4150.00 ) in full
settlement ger his services in connection herewith.

Provided that this Resolution shall be binding upon
The Town of Edgewater, only in the event that such
completed revision and acceptance is made within six-

Section 5. Provided further that this tiedolution shall take effect
immediately upon its passage and adoption by the Town
Council of the Town of Edgewater.

Minutes of Dec 17th 1929 Concluded-
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
A1d.H.A.Moore for the Street Committee , reported
that it would require approximately 45 street
signs for marking names of streets at inter-
sections.
After discussion the matter of kind of material
to be used was agreed upon and street Committee
instructed to procure such material as necessary
for the erection of signs at such street inter-
sections awt as they might agree upon.
Motion by Ald.H.A.Moore seconded by Ald.H.P.
Wilkinson , that Mr.i'erden be authorized to paint
and letter posts for Street signs at 0.75 cents
each, he to furnish paint. Motion carried.
Motion by Ald. W.T.Goodyear seconded by Ald. au1
Van Arman, that Street Committee be authorizes to
buy necessary lumber from Bond-Howell Lumber Co. ,
for street signs and stop signs. Motion carried.
