04-21-1931 - Regular � r .re MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL TOWN OF EDGEWATER, VOiUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, HELD TUESDAY APRIL XL 21st A.D. 1931. Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Ares .Paul Van. Arman: ROLL CALL: President Paul Van Arman, Present Ald.H.A.Moore, Present �► A1d.F.R.Renwick, Present Ald.H.P.V ilkinson, Present Ald. Ralph Adams, Absent. Minutes of regular meeting held Tuesday April 14th 1931 were read and after correction of the second paragraph of portion of minutes reading" Unfinished Business" , the section referred to being corrected to read: " Mr.Richards offered $402.50 each for the seven Bonds or a total of $2,817.50" etc, the minutes were adopted on motion of Ald.H.A.Moore , seconded by Ald.H.P .►`iilkinson, motion unanimously carried. Minutes of Special meeting held Tuesday April 14th were read and adopted on motion by Ald.F.R.nenwick, seconded by Ald.H.A.Moore , motion unanimously carrt d. BITJB AND ACCOUNTS: Clerk read the following bills: W E Burnheimer, G 4.00 War No 905 W .A.Robinson , 5.00 906 J.J.Lofton 3.50 907 Motion by Ald.H.P .Wiikinson , seconded by Ald. F.R.Renwick, that the above named bills be paid. Motion unanimously carried. NEW BUSINESS: Pres.Van Arman, stated that in accordance with the wish of the Council whom he consulted that it had been agreed to accept. the seven bonds held by Jae the Town, in full settlement of the bank deposit in the Fideltiy bank,; and that the bonds had been sold , at a net loss to the Town of $488. 14, which in the opinion of the Council was less loss than would have occured to hold the bonds for a possible rise in the market. Aid.F.R.Renwick, made the following motion That the Council , through its President, authroize tYe Liquidator of the Fidelity Bank to make full settlement of the Towns Account in the said Fideltiy Bank, by the delivery to the Town, for such disposition as the Council .night see fit , the seven City of Vero Beach Sanitation and Improvement Bonds, having a present value of Two - housand Eight hundred dollars , this action to release and relieve the Fideltiy sank, through its Liquidator , at of any further obligations to the Town, insofar as the money deposited therein by the Town , is concerned. s r _ Motion seconded by Ald.
