COTaNLU I CATI ONS: • Letters from Col.wrazier,U.S .Engineer at Jacksonville, relative the New Canal thru Edgewater, was read. No action taken by the Council. Letter from the Community Chest Association New Smyrna, was read and tabled. Letter from the Non-Partisan Tax League was handed the Council by Mr.0 .P.Taylor. No action taken, other than a verbal discussion by various citizens and the Mayor. BILLS AND ACCOUNTS : Clerk read following bills: H.P .Wilkinson, 5 1.50 vrar.No . 1144 C.T.King, 2.72 " " 1145 Motion by Councilman J.J.Francis , seconded by Councilman H.P."<'ilkinson, that the above named bills be ordered paid, as read. Board composed of Coun- cilmen F.R.Renwidk,J.J.Francis ,H .P.`;ilkinson, and R.C .Fuller,Ex-Officio Tax Assessor,converd immediately after the adjournment of the reg- ular meeting of the Town Council. Tax Assessor R.C.Fuller reported that State Tax Assessments for certain public service i corporations had not yet been received and far Town Clerk this reason the preliminary tax assessment roll for 1932 was not complete, whereupon Councilman T.J.Francis moved tat the next meeting of the Tax Equalization Board be held after adjournnment of the next regular meeting of the Town Council, on Wednesday evening, August third, beginning at 7:30 O' clock (P .M.)
