MEETING called to order at 7:30 O' clock P .M. by Mayor
F.R.Renwick, with the following members present,
Mayor-Councilman F.R.Renwick,
Councilman J.J.Francis ,
Councilman H.P .Wilkinson,
Clerk, R.C.Fuller.
MINUTES of regular meeting held Oct 5th A.D. 1932, were
on MOTION of Councilman H.P . ilkinson, seconded
by Councilman J.J.Francis, approved as read.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS :
Report of Marshall C.T .King, coverirg
street work for period ending October 19th 1932,
was read, and ordered filed.

Mayor P.R.Renwck,, stated -that
special .committee composed ofa:Mr.R.3.Fee,H.P.Wilkinson
and himself, had conferred with Mr.Bristley with refer-
ence to securing aid for Edgewater's unemployed, in cony}
ection with the Government work now being authorized, in
the Community Clean-Up Campaign. After discussion as to
what request should be made the committee had agreed to
ask for a gross allotment of 1,000 man hours labor for
Edgewater.
NEW BUSINESS :
Town Marshall King was instructed by Council
to clear the limbs now blocking the Street Light on
Hamilton Drive.
Mayor Renwick stated that J.L. Skipper had
asked him for permission to use the Town mowing Machine ,
on his farm for a short time , on a rental basis. After
discussion Council agreed to let J.L.Skipper use the
mowing machine in exchange for the mowing of Louisa Driie
Community Drive , Spencer Street, and Live Oak Street
south. of Knapp Avenue , and that the Marshall prepare
these streets for the mowing machine by cutting out the
brush.
MOTION by Councilman H.P.Wilkinson, seconda.
by Councilman J.J.Francis that the Clerk be instructed t)
have one hundred envelopes printed for the use of voters
desiring to cast absentee ballots. Motion unanimously
carried.
MOTION by Councilman H.P .'[ilkinson, seconded
by Councilman J.J.Francis, to adjourn until Saturday
October 29th 1932, for the purpose of receiving petitions
of candidates for the Annual Election and for such other
business as might come before the Council at that time.
Motion unanimously carried and CouncilAadjourned until
7:30 O' clock P .M. Saturday October 29th 1932.

held Saturday October 29th 1932.
MEETING called to order at 7:30 O' clock P .M. by
Mayor F.R.Renwick, with the following members present

Councilman J.J.Francis ,
Councilman H.P .Wilkinson
Clerk, R.C.Fuller.
NEW BUSINESS: (continued from meeting held Oct 19th. 4132) .
Mayor Renwick stated that the Council was ready
to receive the petitions of any person desiring to be a
candidate for the offices to be filled in the Annual
Election to be held Tuesday, November 8th 1932.
Petitions were presented the Council by Messrs
J.F.Davis, E.A.Ely, R.C.Fuller, and H.P .Wilkinson, for
the offices as named below:
For Councilman: E . "_.Ely and H.P.Wilkinson.
For Town Clerk: J.F.Davis and R.C .Fuller.
MOTION by Councilman J.J.Francis , seconded by Council-
man H.P .Wilkinson, that the petitions of H.Playtus
Wilkinson and E.A.Ely, as candidates for the office of
Councilman, and the petitions of J.F .Davis and R.C .
Fuller, as candidates for the office of Town Clerk, be
received and thier names ordered placed on the Official
Ballots for the offices named, in the Annual Election
to be held Tuesday November 8th, 1932. Motion unanimously
carried.
`DTION by Councilman H.P .jAlkinson, seconded by Council-
man J.J.Francis that the Clerk be instructed to have
425 ( Four hundred and twenty five ) ballots printed
with the names of the following candidates and in the
order named: For Councilman , E.A.Ely,-H .P . ilkinson,
For Clerk J.F.Davis , R.C.Fuller. Motion unanimously
carried.
Clerk R.C.Puller, submitted the completed Tax Assessment
Roll, for the year 1932. After examination by the
Council, Chuncilman H.P .Wilkinson made a MOTION that
the Completed Tax Assessment Roll for 1932 be accepted,
and returned to the Tax Assessor for final disposition.
Motion seconded by Councilman J.J.Francis and unanimously
carried.
MOTION by Councilman J.J.Francis , seconded by Councilman
H.P .Wilkinson, that the Clerk be instructed to have
printed five hundred tax receipts tmaxtbut numbered 1 to
500 Inclusive , printed in duplicate. Motion unanimously
carried.

Minutes of adjourned meeting of the Town Council
Town of Edgewater,Volusia County, Florida ,hel d
Saturday, October 29th 1932•
Clerk Fuller, stated that he would be in the Clerks
office from 10 Oclock A.M. until 12 noon, and from
4 Oclock P.M. until 6 Oclock P.M. each day, October
31st,November lst,2nd,3rd,and 4th, during which time
voters could cast absentee ballots for the election
to be held November 8th 1932.
Accountant Wm.Marvin White , in cAarge of auditing the
Towns Books, under Wm,O.Gentry,C.P.A. of Daytona Beach,
submitted the completed audit of the Towns Accounts ,
Books and records for the fiscal years ending September
30th 1931 and September 30th 1932. Except for the comment
of the Auditor, in presenting the Audit, dealing particul-
arly with the condition of the Towns Books and Accounts ,
which he had found correct, as stated, and with special
reference to the reduction in the 'Towns Operation costs
for the year 1931-32, no detailed examination of the
Audit was made by the Council, but the report was accepted
subject to adoption at a later date. Mr.White was thanked
by Mayor renwick for the very neat and detailed report
which the Audit covered and discussed the matter of
adopting the reccomendation of Mr.White with reference
to an improved Tax Sale and Delinquent Tax Record, which
the growing needs of the town, made necessary.
MOTION by Councilman H.P .Wilkinson, seconded by Council-
man J.J.Francis , to adjourn, sine die. Motion unanimously
carried.
