MEETING called to order at 7:30 O' clock P by
Mayor F.R.Renwick, with the following members
present:

MINUTES of regular meetings held November 2nd ,
November 7th and November 8th A.D. 1932, were
approved as read, on MOTION by Councilman J.J.
Francis , seconded lay Councilman H.P .Wilkinson.

be ordered paid as read. Motion unanimously carrie3..

Mayor Renwick submitted letter from
. Mr.E .P .Owen Jr. , Sect' y, Fla. League of Municipali-
ties , requesting certain information relative tax
assessments , bonds etc. Clerk was ordered to reply
to the letter furnishing such information as he
could secure from the Town records.
RETORTS OF OFFICERS :
Marshall C.T . King submitted re-
ports of Street work done for the periods ending
November 7th and 14th A.D. 1932. Motion by Council-
man TI.P .Wilkinson, seconded by Councilman J.J.Francis
that the reports be received and filed. Notion un-
animously carried.
NEW BUSINESS:
ummraN by Councilman J.J.Francis ,
seconded by Councilman H.F . :;ilkinson, that that
the Clerk be ordered to purchase 1,000 letter heads ,
same form as heretofore used, also 500 minute book
sheets , each - R1 ® heavy and light weight paper, and
a record book for recording delinquent tax sales.
Motion unanimously carried.
NOTION by Councilman H.I .'' ilkinson,
seconded by Councilman J.J."Francis, that the MOTION
passed at the regular meeting held October 5th A.D .
1932, apportioning the balances in accounts to -Tarim
funds , be recinded and made of no effect, and that .
lieu thereof that the Town Auditor & Clerk be instruipt- 1
ed to apportion the balance of :„l,157.79 in accounts as
of October lot 1932, to the 1932-J3 accounts as follows :

A RESOLUTIO"- DECLARING THE RESULTS 02' THE
lauUAL ELECTION H-4,D IN THE TOWN OF EDGE-.
HATER,VO LUS I.A. COUNTY,F LRIDA , ON THE 8TH
DAY OF NOVEMBER A.D. 1932, AND PROVEDI'NG
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF ELEC-
TION TO THE RESPECTIVE TOWN OFFICERS ELECTED
AT SAID ELECTION.
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater
Volusia County, Florida, met in regular session in
the Town of Edgewater, Florida, on the 8TH day of
November A.D11932, and canvassed the returns of the
Annual Town Election held in said Town on the 8th
day of. November A.D. 1932, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TON COUNCIL OF THE TO:,N OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That from the canvass of the returns it
is hereby declared that the result of said Annual
Election held in the Town of Edgewater, Florida, on
Tuesday, November 8th A.D. 1932, is as follows:
For Town Councilman to serve for the term of three
years , the total number of votes cast was 173. ,votes
E.A.ELY, : receive0. 8O Votes
h.rlayters Wilkinson reQdiw, 93 Votes .
For Town Clerk the total number of votes cast was 174 Votes.
J.F.Davis , received 75 Votes •
R.C.Fuller, received 99 Votes.

1932, Town Council, Town of Edgewater
Florida.
Section 2. That the Town Council does hereby de-
clare that H.Playters Wilkinson, received the high-
est number of votes cast for the office of Town Council-
man and he is hereby declared to be the regularly
elected Councilman of said Town to serve for the term
of three years from.his election and qualification.
That the Town Council does hereby declare
that'H4C .Fuller,, received the highest number of votes
cast for the office of Town Clerk of said Town and he is
hereby declared to be the regularly elected Town Clerk
of said Town, to serve for the term of one year from his
election and qualification.
Section 3. That the Town Clerk be , and he is hereby
directed Within one short day from the date hereof to
furnish one certificate of election to each of the oer-
sons hereinabove declared elected.
Section 4. That the Town Clerk of said Town of Edgewater,
Florida, be and he is hereby directed to spread this
resolution upon the minutes of this meeting.
Passed by unanimous vote of the Town Council of the Town
of Edgewater, Florida on the 16th day of November,A.D.1932,
the members of said Council il voting as follows:

NEW BUSINESS: continued
The foregoing Resolution as read and Councilman
H.P .Wilkinson, moved its adoption, the Motion being
seconded by Councilman. J.J.Francis.
Clerk R.C .Fuller then presented to
the newly elected members , Councilman H.P .''iilkinson
and Clerk R.C .Fuller, Certificates of Election. These
credentials were then offered the Council wherupon
Mayor F.R.Renwick requested M_r.Paul D.Leddin, a Notazy
Public, to administer the Oath of Office to Mr.H.'.
7,:ilhinson and R.C .Fuller. The oath of office having
been properly administered to the newly elected mem-
bers named, they immediately took thier seats as
Councilman and Clerk respectivelly.
Mayor F.R.Renwick then vacated the
Chair and requested Attorney G.O .Rasco to conduct the
election of a jdayor from the nsmbetS of the Council.
A secret ballot was cast by all members of the Council
for Mayor for a term of 1 year, the vote being as
follows:
F.R.Renwick received 2 votes
H." .*Alkin.son " 1 Votes,
Whereupon ::r.Rasco declared , .P.R.
Renwick duly elected Mayor of the Town af Edgewater
Florida, for a term of 1 year. , or until his uctess-
or was duly elected and qualified.
Mayor F.R.Renwick resumed the Chair,
and introduced the following RESOLUTION:

R E S O L U T I O N
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE TOWN COUNCIL
OP THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER,VOLUSIA COUNTY,
FLORIDA, DULY AND LEGALLY CONSTITUTED AND
ORGANIZED UNDER;THE PROVISIONS OF LAW
APPLI CABLE THERETO .
WHEREAS , in accordance with the laws of the State of
Florida and the charter andn ordinances of the Town
of Edgewater, one councilman was duly and legally
elected as provided by law, to the Town Council of the
Town of Edgewater, Florida, at the Annual Election held
in said Town on November 8th A.D. 1932, and
'7REAS, said elected Councilman has duly taken and subs-
.
cribed to this oath• of office and lie filed such oath
in the office of the Town Clerk of said Town and g per-
forlped all other prerequisites of the holding of the office
of Councilman as aforesaid, and
WHEREAS, the said Town Council and the said respective
members thereof have performed all of thpur duties necess-
ary to the legal creation of said Town Council, NOW THERE-
FORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA, AS F0`. AWS :
Section 1. That the Town Council of said Town, consisting
of three (3) members , towit: H.Playters ilkinson,F.R.
Renwick and J.J.Francis, be and it is hereby declared to
be legally and regularly constituted and organized as such,
to function and perform its duties under and by virture of
the provisions of the laws of the State of Florida and the
charter and ordinances of Mad Town pertaining thereto , for
and during the respective terms provided thereby.

Councilman H.P..:'ilkinson, who moved its adoption,
which motion was seconded by Councilman John J.Prancis
and upon vote was passed and adopted, as provided by

Mr.Renwick expressed his thanks to the Council, to
Clerk Fuller and Attorney Rasco for thier hearty
co-operation during the past year, and stated that
he looked forward to much accomplishment the air
year.
Councilman H.P .Wilkinson, on behalf of the Council
expressed thier pleasure in being able again to
serve with A".r.Renwick in .his capacity of Mayor.
Citizen Paul D.Leddin, as a tax payer, stated he was
glad to see Llr.Renwick re-elected to the Mayoralty,
and that he felt the people had in Mr.Renwick a kind,
courteous and efficient Mayor for the past year and
he was delighted to know that 1,1-r.Renwick would again
serve the Community as Mayor for another term.

Sheet 8 ,
Minutes of reg.xlar meeting gel
of the Town Council Town of Edgewater,
Florida, held `ednesday November 16th
1932:
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS : Conclusion-
Clerk R.C .Fuller, stated that he wished to
appoint Mrs.L.A.Fuller and .Mr.H.B .Ashcraft,
Deputy Town Clerks , in order that the work of the
Clerk might not be delayed in case of illness or
.ecessary absence of the Clerk from the City. The
pay for the Deputy Clerks named to be made person-
ally by the Town Clerk, R.C .Fuller, without any
expense to the Town.
Council expressed unanimous agreement with
the request and granted it.
The matter of securing the present library
room in the V.I .A. hall as a Council Room, was
discussed and it was decided that the members of
the Council might meet with the V.I .A. , at thier
next meeting and ascertain what arrangements could
be made to secure larger quarters for the Council
Meeting and the Clerk' s office , the present office
being inadequate for the efficieht handling of the
Town' s affairs.
MOTION by Councilman H.P .'.:ilkinson, seconded
by Councilman J.T.Francis , to adjourn, sinie die.
