MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING
OF THE TOWN COUNCIL, TOWN OF EDGEWATER,
VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, HELD IN THE
V.I.A. HALL, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28 , 1933.
MEETING crlled to order by Mayor-Councilman xenwick with the
following officers and members present:
Mayor-Councilman F. R. Renwick
Councilman J. J. Francis
Councilman H. P. Wilkinson
Clerk R. C. Fuller
Attorney G. O. Rasco
MINUTES of the regular meeting held October A.D. , 1933,
were, on motion of Councilman H. P. Wilkinson , seconded by
Councilman J. J. Francis, approved as read.
BILLS AND ACCOUNTS: . The Clerk read the following bills:
J. J. Lofton - - - - $11.20
J. F. Owens - - - - $10.60
On motion of Councilman H. p. Wilkinson , seconded by F. R.
Renwick that the above named bills, ordered paid as read.
Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS: Petition of E. A. Ely and J. F. Davis for the
office of Town Councilman and of R. C. Fuller and E. H. Loh-
man for the office of Town Clerk , together with written accep-
tance were filed with the Council. Petitions were checked by
the Council and found to contain sufficient number of names
and same were accepted by the Town Council and ordered filed
with the Clerk.
Motion by .buncilman H. P. Wilkinson seconded by Councilman
J. J. Francis that petitions of E. A. Ely and J. F. Davis
for Councilman and R. C. Buller and E. R. Lohman for Town
Clerk be received and names ordered placed upon the ballot

for the annual election to be held Tuesday , November 7th ,
A.D. , 1933. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman J. J. Francis , seconded by Councilman
H. P. iiilkinson, that the Clerk be instructed to have a suf-
ficient number of ballots printed with the names of E.A.Ely
and J.F.Davis Councilman for a term of three years and the
names of A. 0. puller and E. H. Lohman for Torn Clerk for a
term of one year, names to be placed on the ballot ,for the

annual election to be held n alphabetical order, placing
the names of candidates for the office of Torn Clerk first
and the names of candidates for the office of Torn Council-
man next in order upon the ballot. Motion carried.
(Motion by Councilman J.J. Francis , seconded by L.P. Wilkin-
son that the Clerk be authorized to have printed on pink pa-
cer a sufficient nufl^ber of ballots for the special election
to be held on Tuesday, November 7th , A.D. , 1933 , the ballot
to read as follows:

The motion was unanimously carried.
Motion by Councilman H. P. Wilkinson, seconded by Council-
man J. J. Francis to authorize the Clerk to have five hun-
dred (500) tax receipts printed in duplicate for the year
1933 , printed and numbered consecutively, securing the same
at as low a price as possible. emotion unanimously c= rried.
Motion by Councilman J. J. Francis , seconded by H. P. 4il-
kinson, to adjourn. Motion unanimously carried.
